About
Hello, My name is Lalatovic Mladen, a graduate student at the University of Montenegro (Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management - Kotor) and licensed tour guide. I have started this business 5 years ago . I was born and I live in Montenegro, which gives you the assurance that my offer of individual and group tours is a unique experience and proof that you will get to know my country in the best way possible. All of my coworkers are local, licensed guides with great local knowledge. Our approach with people is, above all, friendly, spontaneous and relaxed, which gives freedom to every visitor during the tour to find all the interesting things about Montenegro, its sights and culture and thereby feel part of every visited corner. We'll give our best to make Montenegro one of your favorite destinations. Going to introduce you to the places that are known only to locals, with our traditions and culture.

An amazing experience! We came to Montenegro to celebrate our anniversary and a secret proposal )) We reserved a 4 days personalized tour including the airport pickup and from the first moment we received a VIP treatment. The agenda was adjusted to our requests and the guide Mladen made us fall in love with this beautiful country with sharing his vast knowledge and taking us to the best trip, combining astonishing views, nature and a boat trip to the blue cave and the islands, delicious gastronomic stop overs. Highly recommend for couples that want to have a new adventure, with fantastic nature of sea and mountain while maintaining their privacy and confort.

We had the most amazing private tour with Mladen! He greeted us in Virpazar on Lake Skadar and drove us to Cetinje for our walking tour. Mladen was extremely knowledgeable shared lots of history of the area during our tour. He was very professional and was very flexible in arranging the tour around numerous photo stops along the way. We had a wonderful walking tour through Montenegro's Old Capital City of Cetinje, visiting the monastery, embassies and a stroll through the pedestrian streets lined with cafes, shops and a local farmers market. We then stopped for a delicious lunch of fresh fish from a local restaurant in Rijeka Crnojevica overlooking the river and bridge. I would highly recommend a tour with Mladen to experience the true beauty and hospitality of Montenegro!

We have toured twice with Mladen (Montenegro M Tours) in Kotor, and have had wonderful experiences both times. Mladen is so prompt in answering questions, and is responsive to messages. This built up our trust in him as a guide, especially the first time we came to Montenegro.

Mladen's company creates private experiences that are tailored to your individual interests, and will work with your time constraints. (Both times we visited Kotor via cruise ship, so he is excellent with shore excursions in Kotor).

He also does private multi-day tours through Montenegro and neighboring Albania. Our first visit, Mladen showed us the old town of Budva and the beautiful "Our Lady of the Rocks" church in Perast. He also went out of his way to help us find a specific book in the Montenegrin language.

This visit, we trusted him with an itinerary, with the caveat that we wanted to see beautiful scenery. (Within the time constraints of our port schedule). He did not disappoint!

Mladen took us to a scenic Skadar Lake overlook and the Rijeka Crnojevica bridge. We also did a walking tour through the former royal capital city of Cetinje. We had extra time, so he drove us up to enjoy some snow and panoramic vistas at the summit of Lovcen National Park.

We were so happy to have Mladen as a guide on our private tours, compared with the big bus tours on offer. We were able to see and do so much more in our limited port times.

Mladen is so professional, and a wealth of knowledge about history and culture. He showed us the beauty of his country in luxurious comfort (riding in a new Mercedes Benz).

With the pandemic hitting tourism very hard, we wanted to be mindful about supporting a small business, making sure our euros benefited the local community directly.

We would recommend Mladen and Montenegro Private Tours in a heartbeat!

Our flight arrived late and we were exhausted. We kept asking out tour guide to adapt (a bit shorter, a little less, we were willing and still paid the agreed upon price). But he kept pushing for us to see one more thing so that it became awkward to say no. Tour itself not particularly inspiring, like he had a list of facts and knowledge he wanted to make sure he unloaded.

Mladen was our single point of contact on our first visit to Montenegro, sorting out all our touring & transportation needs. He was very well-organised, punctual, entertaining & knowledgeable, with excellent contacts inside the country. This allowed us to skip queues, enjoy first hand experiences like private boating on Lake Skadar as well as savouring excellent culinary & winery options. An example of this was a memorable visit to Marshal Tito’s favoured viticulturist, who gave us a private tour of his estate & afterwards allowed us to generously sample his wares. It is clear Mladen is very well-regarded & respected within Montenegro, therefore his customers are able to take advantage of his good standing in the wider community, to have a truly memorable stay.

Mladen also has a truly formidable grasp of the history of his country, and was therefore able to effortlessly skip between discussing the poetry of the theocratic Prince rulers of Montenegro, to the complicated internecine warfare of the Balkan states in the first part of the 20th century, and the upheaval that occurred after the assassination of Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo to start the First World War. He also discussed in detail the origin & breakup of Yugoslavia, and the current state of play regarding Montenegro’s integration into the wider European family of nations.

In conclusion, Mladen should be the first person to contact if you are in Montenegro and you want to see this fascinating country in all its splendour & grandeur.

Wow....what can I say? This tour was absolutely fabulous and one of our favorite tours of our 12 day Mediterranean cruise.

George picked us up from the cruise terminal and off we went to explore 3 of the 5 areas of Montenegro. He spoke English well and was extremely knowledgable on all things Montenegro.

We spent the entire day together visiting Budva, Perast and Kotor.

We did the tour in reverse so we could make sure to get back to the cruise terminal in time as well as avoiding the tour buses.

We got to try some local food, saw some amazing views and even got to touch the rock at Our Lady of the Rocks Church where the painting of the Virgin Mary and Child are. We even had a walking tour of the old town and if we were up to it, we could have climbed the fortress wall that went up the mountain.

George was more than a tour guide, we felt like he was family by the end of the day.

If you're looking for a day trip and want to experience all you can, then this tour is for you.

I took the Best of Montenegro Full Day Tour with Mladen, and it was a day filled with WOW moments. The photo stops along the 25 serpentines were STUNNING. The prosciutto we had at the smokehouse was the tastiest I had ever eaten, and it was interesting to learn about how it's made. We couldn't make it to the top of Njegoš Mausoleum because of too much snow, but we went as far as we could and had amazing views of most of the country. And the view at Rijeka Crnojevic was just magical. I don't think I've ever taken a day trip and had such a variety of stunning views before.

Also, Mladen was an excellent guide. He told me so much about the history of the country and interesting stories about the different places we visited. He had a great sense of humor, which made the drive a lot more fun. And he also gave me a bit of free time to explore some places at my own pace, which was nice.

I can't imagine a better day trip to see the highlights of Montenegro. It was really a special day :-)

A heartfelt thank you to Mladen for crafting the perfect itinerary for our week-long stay in Montenegro. Mladen's prompt and courteous responses to all our queries were incredibly helpful and greatly appreciated.

Hvala, Hvala (Thank you, Thank you!) to our guide Mili (the best!) for showcasing the best of Montenegro—from the captivating Old Town of Kotor and bustling Budva to the historical wonders of Lovćen, Cetinje, Durmitor, Bar, and Ulcinj. Each destination was unique and breathtaking!

Mili ensured that we indulged in Montenegrin cuisine at the finest local restaurants, where the seafood and meats were truly delectable. Trekking in Curevac and around Black Lake was an unforgettable experience, as was taking the exhilarating zip line at Tara River Bridge.

Mili's friendly demeanor and patient explanations of Montenegro's past and present added immense value to our trip.

Thank you, Mladen and Mili, for making this trip one of our most memorable and enjoyable experiences!

We had a fantastic day in Kotor with Dani! Mladen helped us develop our day, and Dani did a great job in making it happen. We wanted to see Kotor on our own away from the big cruise ship groups and we got everything we expected and more! In addition to touring the Old City and Perast, we had lunch at an amazing local restaurant that we would never have been able to get to on our own. Thank you for a memorable day!
