We were looking for a boat trip from Kotor to Herceg Novi and back in the evening. After searching online and calling a few Herceg Novi based boat companies (who could not accommodate us), we ran into a few Golden Wave "bookers" on the pier who immediately said they'd be able to arrange for the trip for our group of 7 (a mix of adults and kids). They also gave the kids free bananas, cookies and water. The next morning, they arranged for free parking for the day for our car and helped carry our stroller to the boat. We were escorted to the boat by a young woman who shared a bit about the company--that it's a local family business and that she enjoyed the work and fast pace. The rides themselves were on speed boats in excellent condition and they were so much fun. Both captains knew the Bay of Kotor very well, drove attentively and carefully, and regaled us with local stories and curiosities. We had brought our own life jackets for the kids but were still offered additional ones. On the way back, we stopped to see a submarine tunnel and the captain drove a more slowly due to wind. The owner/manager checked in with us a few times during the day to confirm the time of pickup, and greeted us like friends on return. One of the kids in our group was very anxious about the high speed boats but ended up loving the adventure. Everything was on time and as advertised. I'd highy recommend seeing the stunningly beautiful Bay of Kotor with this company. My only suggestion is to invest in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) because the company does not come up on Google immediately when you look for boat tours in the Bay.

I had the pleasure to have a 3 hours trip around the sunny Kotor. Our skipper Milan provided guidance during the entire trip and also constantly shared with us historical facts about the places we visited. I really recommend the 12 o’clock time slot for having this tour as the water in the Blue cave is going to be sparkling turquoise during strong sun. Enjoy the day!

It was 1,5 hour long amazing trip on Kotor bay. Our skipper Milan made the trip as comfortable and interesting as possible. During the trip played cool music, and before each stop Milan told us short stories and interesting facts about the place, where we stayed. I recommend this trip for everyone, who planed to visit Kotor.

We took 3 hours trip across Kotor Bay at 6pm. I’m only giving them 2 stars because we saw the whole Kotor Bay, which was nice, but there were many things that were wrong. First of all, we were 15 mins late and came back 10 mins earlier, which is not 3 hours. Second, our skipper entered the boat, didn’t even introduce himself and just started the trip. No name, no instructions, nothing. It would be nice if he introduced himself (I think I heard the other guy calling him Miloš?) and gave us a few instructions. He barely spoke to us and didn’t even know to answer any questions. I didn’t expect the guided tour, but since in the programme they said we would see the cities of Boka, it wouldn’t kill him to say as we passed it, this is Perast on the right, this is Herceg Novi, etc. In the end, I was the one who explained it to some people on the boat since I’m from Croatia so I was quite familiar with it. The stops that were promised on the paper (like 5 mins stop to take pics, 20 mins panorama of Perast) were almost non existing, as we took maybe 3 breaks on the sea that lasted for 1-2 mins. Also, his driving was reckless at some points. As we were driving back, he was racing the other driver. Maybe it was funny for him, but not for us as I have a huge bruise from his driving. I already took a speed boat tour, and this is not how you drive, especially when you have children on the boat. And finally, the guy who “sold” us the trip was super nice when we spoke on the street, after we paid not so much. I saw his friend in front of my eyes making a deal with a German guy for 35€, while the rest paid 40€, which left me and the other people wondering why. When I asked him why, he started lying that maybe he paid before 😂 (he didn’t as I heard the whole conversation). When the trip ended, we all got out and he just left, not even saying bye or anything. I recommend to book your trip with other companies, since they offer it for 35€ and I heard nice comments from my friends.

I did the Perast/lady of the rock tour. The captain has a really rude manner. And as soon as you hand over the money to the lady selling the tickets, the friendliness switches off. You can do the same tour for cheaper (check the back of the free paper maps of the old city) and would probably get treated with more respect - as though you are a paying customer!

We did the 2 hour tour to Our Lady of the Rocks and Perast with Alex as our boat captain. Alex was great. Very informative, had tons of information on the area and history. Both Alex and the kind lady who was handling tickets and bookings on shore were very friendly and engaging. The tour is 10 persons per boat in speedboats, which worked out very well. It is also very common in Kotor bay from observing during the tour.

Would absolutely recommend again. Price was great 20 Euro), and worth every euro cent

We did the 6 hour tour of Kotor bay.
The guy who sold it to us mentioned many places that we would stop including the blue cave. When we went on the boat at 3pm he told us due to the weather contition it was not possible and did not offer any discounts or refunds.
We must mention the trip was all good and the captain was very professional at all times (except throwing cigarets on the sea).
I personally know these people know about the forecast from the morning as they have information from the captains- they wont let you know which is not very honest.
If you are Lucky you will see al places if not they wont let you know up until you are in the boat.
I think this is quite unfair as we are paying almost 80 euro for this trip.

Omg what an amazing day!!! We were picked up on time and visited Perast, Lady of the rock, the tunnels and the blue cave. Our skipper Milan was explaining everything along the way and handled our questions with care and much professionalism. We even had the opportunity to stop in the middle of the bay and swim. Definitely recommend this tour to everyone!!

I had the pleasure of taking the 3 hour tour with the Skipper named Milan. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and loves what he does. It is well worth doing. You get a great breeze on a very hot day. The blue cave is amazing with its phenomenal color which you can also swin in off the boat. You won't be disappointed.))

We were doing a Princess cruise and had a day in Kotor so after a recommendation we decided to go on the 90 minute speedboat tour with Golden Wave. It only cost 20 euros and were extremely pleased with everything. It is only a few minutes walk from the cruise port and extremely easy to find. (Just keep to your left instead of going into the old town and you will see the boats along the waters edge in the park. Golden Wave are the first boats.) Milos who we booked with was extremely helpful and friendly, as was his sister. Our skipper Milic was also fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The boats are all of a really high standard and I can’t rate this company highly enough. We are back in Kotor next year on another cruise and plan this time to do the 3 hour cruise to the Blue Cave with them. Definitely recommend their tours and so much cheaper than booking with the cruise company.
