We met Boris in Kotor and get a lot of travel tips. Boris is well English and Spanish guide with a lot of knowledge. It was a little funny because we met nim at some local restaurant and started to talk. We get to know a lot and get many tips and contact to olive oil farm which we were not able to contact on our own. We did not take a tour because we just finished our trip in Boka but I recommend to start visiting with tour guide Boris. He is very friendly and you will have great time!

Boris caught us coming off the ship- convinced us to take his tour- it was a great decision. Nikolai our driver spent 3 hours taking us to a wonderful
panoramic view of Kotor, to a boat to Our Lady of the Rocks church, then to a wonderful waterside restaurant for a light lunch. We could not have been mor pleased with our day

This small country is absolutely beautiful. You can't go wrong despite many tourists visiting at the same time. As we pulled in to the bay, I was amzed at how pretty it looked and it only got better as we drove up the mountain. A little rain did not "dampen" the sights, as a matter of fact, it was the first time ever I looked down at a rainbow.

It is an absolute recommendable tour if you visit Kotor! Boris picked me up at 9 o'clock in the morning and we first went to the Lovćen by his car. On the way, he told my lots of interesting facts about the history of Montenegro. He can speak English fluently. We also stopped at some places near the street to enjoy the view over Kotor and Boka Bay.
Arrived on the Lovćen, you first have to walk some stages to the Mausoleum of Njegoš and to the top of the mountain. But you will be rewarded with a magnificent view! When I was there with Boris, it was very silent and only a few other people were there. While visiting the Mausoleum, Boris told me the interesting history of it.
Back in the car, we drove to Cetinje, a very nice city near the Lovćen with an old history. After that, he showed me a nice restaurant with very good local food. Finally we drove back to Kotor across Budva.
In summary, it was a wonderful day and I am very happy to have made this trip with Boris! After contacting him, it was very easy to plan the tour via smartphone/WhatsApp.

We have had a great trip around Kotor, organized by Boris, we spent some time with locals, enjoying local food:) Boris can explain to you a lot about the Kotor itself as well as about the geopolitical situation of Montenegro if this topic interests you. He also has contacts everywhere, so if you need some dedicated trip, he can help. He is an outgoing person and speaks good English, (also Spanish). I highly recommend tours with this guide!

Wonderful experience at Mount Lovcen with Boris. This is not the typical plain vanilla, generic tour that you find so often in touristic places. Flexibility, adapting to your interests along the way, full of interesting facts about Montenegro, Kotor and the national park, oh and did I mention breathtaking views (and the time to let it all sink in). Thank you Boris for making this an unforgettable moment, I will warmly recommend to anybody!

My husband & I went on an a afternoon private tour around the Bay of Kotor. It was one of the most beautiful & memorable experiences in Montenegro! We spent time at ‘Our Lady of the Rocks’. Watched the sunset on the boat & stopped off at Perast for a romantic dinner before being taken back by boat. I would recommend this to everyone, super special.

My husband and I recently arrived home from a cruise of the Mediterranean. One of the first ports we docked at was Kotor in Montenegro. Such a scenic, pretty town.
On advice from a work colleague of my husband, we arranged a private tour of Kotor and Budva, with Kotor Tours. Ivan, our guide, was truely lovely. He is a gracious, courteous and friendly man, who is a walking encyclopaedia on the region. If your only language is English, don't worry, Ivan's English is very good. He met us at the ship terminal and then was our escort for the next 6 1/2 hours basically. His car was roomy and clean and he navigated the roads with expertise. We stopped in multiple places to take photos, where ever we wanted really. We were lucky that we were travelling in November and there were not many tourists, so all places we visited had easy access without crowds. If you don't want to do big arranged tours with lots of people, then this is the way to go. I can highly recommend Kotor Tours for a personalised tour. When compared with other tours, including the shore excursions arranged by the cruise ship, Kotor Tours pricing is very competitive and reasonable. If you are planning a trip that includes Montenegro and are Interested in doing a tour of the Kotor / Budva region, just google Kotor Tours for contact details and arrange a tour for the day. You'll have a really great time.

My husband and I were recently on a cruise and one of the stops was in Kotor, Montenegro. We decided not to book an excursion through the cruise line and little did we know, because the ship had to tender to the Island it took us more than two hours to get off the ship. So, when we finally arrived we met Ivan right outside the dock. He was super nice and offered to take us to various places around the island. We explained that we had a very limited amount of time since we got to the Island so late and Ivan assured us he would be able to jam pack a great tour in. Well, he did not disappoint! He brought us to so many places; stopped to take amazing pictures in so many locations and the final leg of the tour he took the time to walk around the old town and give us the rich history of the Island. We were very blessed to have had Ivan as our tour guide. He even offers Wifi in his car! If you happen to be in Montenegro and want an intimate tour, instead of sharing a hop on/off bus, look for Ivan, you will NOT be disappointed! Thanks for such an amazing time!

Angela ciao,
Paola
Ciao saremo a Kotor il 5 agosto, come fare a contattare Ivan ?

If you google Kotor.Tours it comes up no problem. There is a photo of a man on the website wearing some traditional Montenegrin clothing. You can start your inquiry through the website.
Or you can email: info@kotor.tours and that’ll get the job done too.
