I only admired the building from the outside and I liked the pale green color with which it is painted. And here, as in many museums in Serbia, it is a problem to understand the exhibits because there are no English translations. Maybe, after Serbia...More

During our stay in Novi Sad we visited the city museum and the catacombs of the Petrovaradin Fortress, a tour we booked from the reception of the establishment. The museum is in the main building of the fortress which is located on a hill and...More

I really can’t see the point. A couple of rooms and a tunnel. That’s your lot. The staff (no English guides that day) tried harder to hide in their little office than to help. There is another tour you can take, but I’m sure it’s...More

It is located just by the Petrovaradin Fortress, so you can combine your visit to the fortress with the museum. The museum is pretty small but it showcases some great items related to the history of the city and the region.

You really visit the fortress for the views. There is this rather minor museum which we nevertheless found interesting. I saw no way to see more of the tunnels than you do when you visit the deep well. There was an extra display on when...More

There is only one hall open to the public, and not much to see in it. Other parts are in a reconstruction stage, but we were told by staff, that has they been open, one would have charged extra fees, We did come down the...More
