Matica srpska is an institution, first in Europe of this type. It represents Serbian culture in best way. So does the gallery, well and systematically arranged, can provide good insight in Serbian art. They are making also various exhibitions apart from constant settings.

We enjoyed a number of the works here and it was quite the value at about 2 euros to get in. Have a look at the photos and you will know if it is for you, too.

It is the Gallery with great pieces of art and with great historical value. Some of the most famous Serbian artists' painting are located here. Standing just in front of them is a great privilege. Definitely must see place in Novi Sad!

Three floors are laid out clearly, each with either 18th, 19th or 20th century exhibitions. Full colour booklets of each collection are available for next to nothing. Definitely worth a visit !
