Stopped in to check out all the weapons. Inside you'll see a wide variety of weapons used throughout the countries history.

The building, in Gothic style and dating to the 16th century, holds an interesting collection of weapons and armor; from medieval swords and hussar armor to more modern bayonets.

I rarely write negative reviews, BUT it should be here. Long queue, stood in the wet snow, dirty toilet, well-known ribs were spoiled ((felt a bad taste, we were disappointed and hungry left. the only advantage is the waiter quickly brought the order and was polite.

Lviv is full of incredible museums, and they're all incredibly inexpensive - 30UAH is the most common admission price. The Arsenal Museum has a fantastic collection of arms and armour covering centuries of history, mostly regional. The Polish Winged Hussars Armour is particular fascinating.
You won't need long to see the exhibits. If you're hungry, the attached restaurant serves incredible ribs and good beer, but it's often packed.

It's everything you predict an arsenal museum to be ! It's very interesting to see how eastern Europe weapons are different to western Europe in the 1800s and 1900s.
It has two floors and was 30UH to get in. So very cheap.
Everything is in English and Ukrainian. Some of the translations are slightly off due to being very literally translated.
They also have a huge tapestry for the battle of Gruntwuld.

Not far from the main square, it is situated in an interesting historical building. The weapons are shown on two floors, grouped by territory, type and period. In most cases detailed information provided in English. Also shows the huge monumental painting of the Battle o Grunnwald. Very informative for people interested in weapons and their development.
Entrance fee was 30 UAH. No toilets inside.

The museum has weapons through the ages from all around the world, not just Ukraine. They are grouped by type but other than that not much to tie it all together. A good way to spend an hour or so though.

Hello, as the museum does not seem to have a 'proper' website (at least not one like we are accustomed to seeing in the West), can you remember the admission price, do they have a bookshop/souvenir shop on site?
Many thanks!
