We went here for the opera and had a great experience. Tip: order your tickets online before you go. Had the level one first booth seats one and two next to the stage for only $20 each.

We lived in old town L’viv’s in 5 min from Lviv National Opera. Everyday we passed the building of National Opera. And of course we couldn't lose the chance to see the show (Italians operetta). Inside the building is more beautiful, than outside. In the evening the building of National Opera are decorated with illumination.…

We’ve booked tickets online in advance before traveling to Lviv but you can also buy from the ticket office in the building. First of all comparing to other performance halls in Europe and US the ticket prices are sooo affordable and this is very good. Apart from that we beauty of the building, the architecture and the engravings are just MAGNIFICENT! You must see a show or a ballet or opera minimum once. There is a cloakroom and you can enjoy a glass of Prosecco and some treats before or during the break. Definitely recommended! …

I have been here several times, and always enjoyed the performance and the building. The shows start early, around 6pm, so it is easy for young families to go.
