In a country that loves it's statues and monuments this one is distinctive and classic. It is situated in a square across from Hotel George. Apparently Mickiewicz was a Polish patriot and poet and this tribute does him justice.

Adam Mickiewicz is a heart of Poland history and tradition. This statue is one of the points in Lvov and it tells: Poland was here for 500 years and you will not change it...

It is one of the most beautiful monuments in Ukraine. It reminds people that Lviv was a Polish city most time of its history and presents one of the best Polish poets.

Prospect Svobodi start from Adam Mickiewicz square. Square monument is a 21 meters tall - bronze composition "Inspiration", where a winged genius of poetry gives the lyre to Mickiewicz. Due to the optimal distance between the statue and column, as well as the height of an angel placing, for any sunlight-shadow of the angel never falls on the figure of the poet

Nothing wrong with this monument which would be quite a focal point apart from the fact that there are other more striking ones nearby.

This area on a long street contains quite a few statues and icons. At one end is the Lviv Opera House which is beautifully lit in the evening. The street boasts bars and restaurants on either side of the busy road.

A 21 meter monument with a 3 meter statue of Adam Mickiewicz impresses. It is worth coming and being proud of one of the greatest Polish writers in history.

This monument is a focal point in the main market square! Adam Mickiewicz was a poet and a leading figure in the polish struggle for independence during the 19th century!
The monument is a meeting point in the square!
