Agree with other reviewers that the exhibition part of this is not very good but the real highlight are the rooms themselves and getting to walk around peacefully to take it all in - some lovely pieces, lovely colour choices, all beautifully arranged.

I got my own “Day of museums” today, so Bandinelli Palace was in my list also.
As I used my LVIV CITY CARD, it was free for me.
I was so impressed this historic rich interiors and a collection of household items of the 17th-19th centuries.
Also it’s interesting fact: Bandinelli Palace is a former first Post office in Ukraine!

The Bardinelli Palace built for an Italian merchant, we visited the museum collection inside consisting of other furniture and objects; particularly nice were the gold artifacts dating to the beginning of the past millennium.

Corner post office since 1629. Very nice looking and painted/repaired building, which is rare in Lviv

We didn't go inside but admired the architecture from the small square in front. It is yet another example of the beautiful architecture of the old city of L'viv and highly recommended.

Exhibition is rather lackluster, with no commentary and nothing you haven't seen in other places. Paintings are dimly lit, but as it's almost only portraits, that's not that much of a problem. Building is nice. I would suggest trying the historical museum next doors, which seems more interesting, but was unfortunately under reconstruction at the time of our trip.
