Small but beautiful chapel covered with carvings on the outside, sculptures and moldings on the inside. Over 400 years old. It is located in the center of the Old Town, near the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption.

Маленькая, но красивая часовня, покрытая резьбой снаружи, скульптурами и лепкой внутри. Возраст часовни превышает 400 лет. Находится в центре Старого города, у Латинского собора.

Accidentally found this place by walking the street, but the experience inside was special.
Old Gentleman's club, now a museum, with a long history, is one of the places in Lviv worth visiting.
You would not be sorry visiting this wooden decorated building. Take your chance to visit. This building can compare to the best European tourist sports.

This small building is an arresting piece of architecture even in a city that harbours many such! The cupola sculpture of Christ resting contenplatively at the foot of the Cross may just be unique in its conception. The interior of the chapel is small - perhaps ten persons can be inside at one time and enjoy a comfortable view -but lavishly decorated in sculptures and reliefs. It is one of the real tidbits of Lviv, worth making note of opening hours to add this experience to the other church visits of the city.

The story of this chapel is the significant part of Lviv history. It is connected with one of the most influent families of medieval Lviv. Be sure to give several dollars to woman who works there to tell you the story and show all inside.

The exterior is striking enough, with its ornate facade, but it's worth paying the minimal fee to look inside - although it's not particularly roomy and if you get there at the same time as a tour group you'll be fighting for space.

Excellent example of late Renaissance architecture. Chapel build for adviser to Polish king Stefan Batory. Extremely rich interior though very fatigue. During Soviet times chapel turned into municipal depot of cleaning materials. Now under hostage of local Polish community needs quick and solid restoration.

Most of the monuments, churches and cathedrals in the city of Lviv are free. This one was not, so our expectations were immense. However, you only enter the relatively small room with an altar where you can make two or three steps maximum, look at the altar for one minute, read about the place in two minutes and then there´s nothing else to see so you leave. It cost 30 hrivnas per person to enter this "monument" which is not a lot of money for a Westerner I admit. However, it simply CANNOT compare to e.g. St George´s Cathedral which was free and it was just stunning and beautiful, just like the Latin Church and some other religious and important places. Small, unimportant, not impressive. Don´t waste your money on this, have a cup of coffee and a cake nearby instead.
