We arrived in the late afternoon when most of the day trippers left the City.
It was a bit dark inside but when we walked closer we could see how ornate the church was inside.
As with many Ukrainian churches, a small fee is charged if the visitor wishes to take photos and videos. There is no fee to enter the church.

The Dominican Cathedral is a very historical cathedral. The day I visited it was closed but the section where you pay to enter the bomb shelter ot underground bunker was opened for business despite the war. The cost to enter the bunker was 5 or 6 euro as far as I can recall. The lady at the counter gave me a ticket which I took back outside and to the entrance where a couple of gentlemen were standing. One took the ticket then showed me to the underground bunker. The tunnel was eerie but interesting. However, compared to the other at the St. Peter and Paul'ss Cathedral, it was smaller and less impressive. Despite this I totally enjoyed.

Yes, it is just an another cathedral for those of us, who are not into religion. But, the building itself looks amazing. It is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen, outside and inside.
Plus, it is near to the Market Square, where all the tourists go anyway, so spend some time to see this beauty.

The Dominican Church was originally built in the 13th century and then replaced by other successive churches until it took its present from in the 18th century. It has a nice Baroque structure including the large cupola.

This cathedral struck me as the most beautiful exterior of many beautiful churches in Lviv, though you don't need a review to tell you that. Just go and see for yourself!

We walked in when a church service was going on and it was beautiful. It's a tall building and the inside rises high. While there is no art on the dome the decor around the church is amazing.

During the Russia occupation this church was used for storage . It has been brought back to it full glory. Beautiful religion artifacts were in the church.

Does the Dominican Cathedral have certain times you are allowed in to sight see? Do I need to buy tickets ahead of time? What are the hours and days we are allowed in to see it

It is absolutely free to enter. Unfortunately I could not find information about opening hours. I visited it approximately at two p.m.
