This is a unique museum under the open skies, presenting the ancient architecture of the whole of Ukraine in one place. It is an ideal place to see in one place how people were living and what their homes, churches, and workshops looked like.
I would recommend this place to visit to regular people, and also for kids who want to learn about the history

Stokholm’deki Skansen Açık Hava Müzesi örnek alınarak yapılmış olmalı. Müze Batı Ukrayna’nın ahşap yapılarını, el sanatlarını ve günlük yaşamını canlandırmak amacı ile 1971 yılında oluşturulmuş. 105 yapının bazılarının içinde eski kırsal yaşam canlandırılıyor. (Köy evinin içinde ekmek hazırlanıp pişirilmesi gibi). Müzedeki en eski yapı 1749 tarihli Kruvka köyü kilisesi. Lviv gezi rehberlerinde yer almayan bu müze mutlaka ziyaret edilmesi gereken müzeler arasında olmalıdır. Açık havada pişirilen yöresel tatlar küçük kafede sunulmaktadır, fiyatları oldukça makul

Tatil süreniz uzun ise kesinlikle görmeye değer. Tüm öğleden sonranızı burada geçirebilirsiniz, zamanın kıymeti yoksa şayet 2 numaralı tramvaya binin tüm şehri dolaşıp son durakta inin.

Jedna z najciekawszych atrakcji Lwowa.

Polecamy!

I went to the museum on bright and sunny sunday afternoon in february.

Most of the buildings were closed and could only be visited from outside, most exhibitions were not working either. The few food stalls were also closed.

The footpaths were often muddy and slippery, so don’t wear your sunday shoes.

The museum might be nice in the summer, but in the winter it is not worth the effort to get to this place.

Entrance fee 40 Grywna.

Houses are closed on Monday and Tuesday, at least during winter. However, you can still enter (entrance 40 uah) and have a walk and admire the houses from outside. Some houses have short explanation outside. It’s a few tram stops from Rynok square and then 15 min on foot from the main road uphill. There are some signposts on the way. If you have spare time, it’s ok to visit but not a must see in my opinion.
