Relaxed evening with some music
Aug 2020 • Couples
We went for some drinks in the evening and found that there are some artists who preforme on the square in the evening and they really set the nice summer vibe. Not sure is it a regular thing or we were just lucky.

Beautiful place - lovely touch to the city (expensive)
Aug 2020 • Couples
On arrival we went straight for the town hall as we knew it is the monument and one place which is the centre of the town and one of the main attractions.
When we got to the entrance we seen everyone leaving and so did we as the price to enter the town hall was rather expensive 30kn - yes it is not alot if you are staying in Sibenik for a few days but if you sre there for a day it is expensive.

However you could tell it looked lovely inside, but we got some great images of the place from the outside.

Definitely a recommendation for this place.

This is such a beautiful building in a pretty location. The arches make it very pleasing to the eyes.

Good central location
Aug 2019 • Couples
The building and surrounds are beautiful and the central location makes it a good spot to visit. It can get very hot in the open sun and there is limited shade.

Nice building

Because of festivities the view on the hall was broken by installations. But without I think it will be nice.

Stopped by as part of a tour on 19th June 2019.

It was rebuilt post 1945 following its destruction during WW2. None of it is original. It has been replicated exactly as it was originally constructed but I’m not sure why they bothered.

It makes up part of the square outside the cathedral. We visited during the “Children’s Festival” so there was a large set of bleacher seats right in front meaning access was poor and it didn’t look good at all.

Not worth the visit.

Sibenik Town Hall
May 2018 • Couples
Nice renaissance structure built in the 16th century.
It was almost totally destroyed by allied bombing in 1943 and rebuilt after the war.
Located next to the Cathedral.

Renaissance loggia facing the main town square and cathedral
Oct 2018 • Friends
Town Hall Šibenik is on the east side of the main town square (a.k.a. Square of the Republic of Croatia) facing St. James Cathedral. This Renaissance building was erected between 1533 and 1546, and is flanked by two carved stone staircases. The graceful colonnaded loggia now houses the Vijećnica café-restaurant. The second floor features a graceful stone balustrade along the facade. The building was completely destroyed in December 1943 during an attack by allied air forces, but was lovingly restored after the war, The town hall adds a medieval backdrop to public events in the square, including the annual Šibenik Children’s Festival. The square is lit at night, which adds to its romantic atmosphere. The square is open at all times with no entry fee.
