This is the local market, where you can pick up all sorts of goods to enjoy your day. Great for fruit and snacks before heading to the beach.

I was staying in a small studio and able to cook. Decided to visit market for morning fruit plus buy some local fish. Very disappointed with fruit selection as same as UK winter selections and basic fruit. Fish market had mussels but they looked small and poor size open on display. Bought 2 large squid for 100 kunar which seemed a high price. Went straight back to clean and refrigerate. Dissatisfied that then found half frozen inside so not a fresh catch. However when cooked in evening very tasty and glad I had purchased. Also got kilo of spinach which was excellent flavour and fresh. Clothing range in market poor. Surprisingly not many locals appeared to be shopping and seen busier markets elsewhere in other places.

We were here mid September and bought some fruits and olive oil. There are a lot of products from where to choose from. There is also a fish market quite big, but we haven't tried bought anything from there.

Buy local products in a real market. Good place to buy goods before heading to the beach or islands.

Local markets are always fun to visit. Divided in two parts; the open air market with local products like vegetables, fruit, honey, olive oil,... and the fish market hall.
