This would be a nice place to visit if it weren't for the tour groups and the slefish stick. They barge you out of the way to take yet another photo of themselves against a backdrop.

The five wells square is well worth a visit possessing both an ancient and a medieval history. Now wedged between the gardens and city gate on one side and the medieval walls on the other they are reminder of life from a different age.
These 5 wells are close to the city gate, a nice square with restaurant and shops, and a park. Nice to stroll by if you are in the old city center of Zadar, but further than that I was not impressed to be honest.
