If you are in Zadar the chances are that you will walk through the Sea Gate at some stage. There isn't much to see. Its just an arch. Walk through pause look. Job done.

An ornate gate - simple in concept but what events / history has it seen? Behind the gate lies the interesting old town of Zadar.

This gate leads to a bridge to cross into the other side of Zadar. Even though it is much smaller than the Fosa Land Gate the architecture is still beautiful to observe.

It's part of the old city wall of Zadar.Entrance point if you're entering the city from the pedestrian bridge across the marina. An impressive architectural achievement in the context of its time, slightly less impressive than the Zadar main gate. Only worth making a detour...More

Well like the name of this attraction suggest it's a gate. But I must say it looks nice. All that Latin writing and Venetian lion sure looks nice.

Interesting gate to the city with intricate stonework and nice facade. Smaller and narrower than the city gate however it is charming and frames the street beyond very well. Great to stroll through.
