You can see the clock tower here and locals like to use this as the default meeting place. Also known as the square.

This beautiful old building is just off the main walking street in Zadar. Surrounded by outdoor cafes in one of the main squares it's a great place to sit & watch the world go by.

My wife and I were here on a tour from US in mid-May. Obviously, I had noticed the square, people having coffee, and of course, the clock tower. I went a bit closer and noticed that it was also a museum. I was curious to...More

One of the places you could have a coffe while watching the time passing by. It makes it somehow nice to watch other passing why you are enjoying the coffee.

Great places to take a break and have an espresso. Make sure to go into the Cafe Lovro (northwest side), which is built inside of and around an 11th century church.

This is the center of the beautiful Old Town of Zadar. The seaside promenade of Zadar seems to be more famous, but I preferred to stroll around through the narrow streets and over the squares of the Old Town.

The City Sentinel marks the center of a very interesting town that goes back to Roman times. There are even the remains of the Roman forum. One of the more interesting towns in Croatia. Definitely worth a guided visit.
