Brilliant views

Bablja Kula the highest building of the city. Good step but a lot of them for a small charge. At the top, a magnificent view of the city.

It cost 20 Kuna to ascend the tower. The lower steps are steep and the upper ones are spiral:all are modern and so safe.Good views of the town from the top.

This tower is actually more interesting than the 5 wells that brought us to this side of town. The tower is attached to remains of the old town wall. The tower has an odd 5-sided shape which makes it interesting

This tower is situated in the same area as the 5 wells. We noticed that it was open one of the days we were passing and had to pay €2 each to enter. It is basically just a Spiral Staircase to the roof. where you can look out over part of the city. It does give a good birds eye... More

Kapetanova kula (Captain's Tower) called also Bablja kula (Old Woman's Tower) is situated on Five Wells Square (Trg pet bunara). The Tower is connected with remains of medieval town wall. After we had returned from Zadar, I read somewhere on the web that it is possible to access the Tower and enjoy a great view from it. However, we didn't... More
