Beautiful Istrian city Pula if full of wonders, museums, squares, marina and beaches. It should be on your list of cities to visit and places to see. Monumental Arena and a walk to marina Veruda would make you stay in Pula a very pleasant experience.

After visiting the Amphitheater, I passed a small park and went to the Marina. Took several pictures of the boats and decided to join one of those island hopping boats before I leave Pula. Noted only 1-2 restaurants in the Marina Area!

Our yacht charter started from Marina Varuda and we bought a €50 ticker to park our hire car for the week within the marina. However when we got back there was a sticker on the car saying it had been wheelclamped and there was a €150 fine. Actually we weren't wheel clamped although a car 2 rows away was. There was a notice on the space next door saying 'For loading 30 minute wait only', but there was no notice on our space. Well, no dice. Neither the charter company or the marina manager were interested. Once the goons have put a sticker on the car, you've got the pay the fine before you can drive out to the marina. We did not figure out whether it was just bad signposting, or an extortion racket but we not going back to find out.
