The Temple of Augustus is one of the few remnants that reminds us of ancient past of Pula (known in Roman times as Pola). Temple was built during a lifetime and dedicated to first Roman Emperor Augustus, somewhere between 27 BC and AD 14, and...More

The only remaining temple of the 3 at Pula marketplace, whilst only small, it is in amazing condition and holds such a great story of Roman times in the city. One definitely not to miss

The temple is great but you can see everything you want from outside. The interior has a modern statue and some below average displays of Roman figures.

This striking temple is very well preserved and situated in the heart of Pula, in one of the main squares. We paid the small entrance fee to see the artefacts and statues inside. A must see in Pula.

A nice piece of roman architecture to view for free. Great to see during the day & at night whilst out & about. With it positioned in the square surrounded by restaurants & bars it makes a great backdrop to your meal / drink

Very nice from all angles and probably most beautiful just before nightfall. I believe you can get inside but nothing much to see apart from parts from Diana’s temple that was destroyed long time ago. Don’t miss.

We dined at a lovely restaurant just behind this fabulous monument and stayed a while longer to watch the brilliant buskers performing.

Get at the temple, admire the architecture, think of it's importance and you will get an idea of what it was at the past! Sure one of the best buildings in Pula!
