This was quite a long boat ride (3 hours!). It was pleasant, but not much to see really other than the odd island and if you’re lucky enough, the dolphins. We managed to get a quick glimpse of the dolphins, but that was it. There was no guide, well no English speaking guide. When we were heading back we did get to see the beautiful sunset. They do serve unlimited drinks. I personally wouldn’t recommend this trip. It was far too long, and not much to see or experience to be honest.

When we booked the tour they told us that we would go on the island with the option to visit the park. After a 2h drive on the boat we stopped at another beach. (Which took the captain ‘20 to ‘park’ his boat). This beach was not on the island. It was just on the mainland 2km from Pula. Furthermore, there was no restaurant nearby, so we had to walk for ‘30min. Because of this there was almost no time left to swim. During the tour there was no communication of this route adjustment. Afterwards, they told us that it was because of bad weather. It seems unfair to me that we are not refunded partially. When talking to the tour operators about our remarks, they became very angry and verbally. One women started shouting without a reason. Unprofessional organisation, would not recommend!

Greedy people! We booked in advance for a party of 14 and was promised enough space for us all plus luggage, when we arrived the boat was nearly full and others had to squeeze up to accommodate us. The food was so bad (burger pate or fish with something I’m not quite sure) we fed it to the seagulls. No beer! Lidl white or red wine with orangeade or lemonade for the kids only options and to top it all off not a dolphin in sight. Highlight was the sing along to if you’re happy and you know it.

We were encouraged to sail the evening trip by a woman at the harbour side selling tickets. The excursion sounded great and with food and A chance to see dolphins we bought tickets. When we arrived I felt the boat was a bit busy but not overcrowded. The drinks offered were warm, cheap, and the wine wasn’t drinkable. The food arrived and I was surprised to see just shredded cabbage and a burger/cabbage and fish. Although tasted ok I would suggest skip the food and reduce cost of the trip. We saw dolphins, lots of them and for a long time. The sunset was gorgeous. I would wouldn’t recommend this trip as it wasn’t value for Money. Food was poorly presented and there wasn’t enough. The drinks were awful. Even the children didn’t want the pop!

We did this dolphin and sunset boat trip with minimal expectations but we were very pleasantly surprised! The crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. The guide we had spoke very good English, Italian and German so all could understand. They knew the good area for the dolphin sightings and also about the coastline we passed and were often telling us about the sights. The food we had was very tasty. You get either a grilled mackerel or a burger with pickled cabbage and bread. You have unlimited soft drinks and wine which you help yourself too off the tables. The wine wasn't great quality, but it is free! Very good evening, and would recommend for individuals, friends, families and couples alike.
