Me and My Wife did the GOT tour, just the standard 2 hour one. We saw lots of filming spots and historical parts of this beautiful city, the guide was really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Od certainly recommend for any GOT fan, the castle and old town are stunning and seeing the walk of shame steps was very cool

We didn’t do the extended tour but it looks like that’s the only option in here. Our guide, Vlaho, was so knowledgeable and was working on set as well so he had a lot of behind the scenes info. He had a great personality and was very friendly. If I could have done the extended tour, I would have! I made my friend join me, who has never seen the series, and she was skeptical but because Vlaho was so entertaining and informative she said she will actually watch it! Highly recommend this tour, totally worth it! If you get Vlaho, you’re lucky ;)

Robert was a certified expert on all things GoT! From location details to filming secrets, he knew it all. Not only did we get to see some awesome spots in Dubrovnik, we got to play with swords.... and that’s the best. He also helped us recreate some iconic scenes (but not ones with anyone dying). If you’re in Dubrovnik, this should be the first thing on your list.

Amazing tour if you are a GOT fan but also got the history of the city which was really interesting.we booked a Mid day tour and only 4 of us on it which was great as some tours have 20+ people. Our tour guide Ivan was very interesting and knowledgeable and funny and of course a local which was even better. Ivan told us stories about GOT filming details and also best places to eat and drink that you may not find yourself. Thanks Ivan

We did a mixed tour of GoT and History since we had small kids that had never watched the show. Our guide was so amazing talking about how they transformed the town into the set of GoT, that our kids had a phenomenal time without every seeing the show. I would highly recommend this tour again and agian.

Best walking tour I have ever been on, and I have been on many. Our guide was Branco, and he was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic it rubbed off on all of us.
We visited all of the major filming locations in Dubrovnik, and he showed us what things looked like during the filming, and gave us first hand experience about his time living in Dubrovnik while they were filming.
10/10 will do again.

I absolutely loved everything about my experience and tour with Vlaho. I did the tour solo so we got to spend a lot of time talking about Dubrovnik in general and of course tons of behind the scenes things. He was very knowledgeable and kept every moment of the tour exciting. He was also kind enough to offer to take pictures of me at the tour sites (which came out great!). Do yourself a favor and book this tour!

As someone who worked on set while the show was filmed, Vlaho was a terrific guide who really knew his stuff and told us fun facts about the TV magic used throughout production and gossip about the cast behind the scenes, which greatly satisfied my little fandom heart. 🥰
He was also really funny and we were sad when he had to go do another tour because we totally would have hung out with him more otherwise. But don't worry, we took revenge by fake-stabbing him with Needle and Longclaw, so we're good now.
11/10 would recommend!

Honestly, even if you’re not a fan, the tour covers amazing scenery, and provides a ton of historical reference, so you’d likely enjoy it anyway.
We had a 10 person group, and Davor was our guide. He and the overall experience were excellent. I’ve done a lot of historical and culture-inspired tours, and this one easily ranks in my all-time favorites.
If you find yourself in or near Dubrovnik, make the time to do this. It’s worth every dime, and then some.

Our tur guide was a nice local girl, Nera, who walked us from the Pile Gate up to the Fort Lavrenjac without saying a word. She then started to give obvious details about the Production who pays good money to the cafes for closing their shops for 2-3 days in order for the shootings to take place or that many of the sceneries were digitally processed and enhanced or modified. Very little information about the city itself and its history. Young local people acting as tour guides stroll around the city with a Book of photos of scenes of GOT, surrounded by tourists who have to pay 41 EURO per person for 2,5 hours to listen to their personal story as members of the crowd. And they have been given numbers by the Production so that they could call them to make up or get hair dressed. And the crashed heads were not real, and the nice moves with swords and prears were performed by stunts O.K. the tour is supposed to be thematic, but it could very well blend with nice tips of the city's history and its monuments. The stuff I read on the internet about the city were considerably more than those we heard on the tour. A total waste of time and money. I noticed some good looking traditionally dressed young girls who were telling really interesting things to their group about the city and the harbour and the walls. Do read the bad reviews before you book, because you will disappointed even if you are GOT freaks or enthousiastic with GOT, yet naive, teenagers. Sorry, Josip, but truth has to be spoken out and I do hope you will find a way to improve the tour or equalize the level of your guides, because we read about fantastic tour guides, yet we experienced nothing in particular. After we read your review on TA, it made us all very sad. It was really hard to respond to it and not to get emotional, since we all invested so much love and effort and hard work into this GOT tour project of ours and we just love every second of being part of it, so we all take it very personally...but we will try to be concise and without much emotion:
- all 5 of us: Ivana, Nera, Lana, Robert and Antun are licensed guides with years of guiding experience in historical and cultural tours in Dubrovnik and its surroundings . We were all born in this beautiful city, know every little street in the Old Town, its rich history, and have been with it in its good and bad times...and we absolutely love it...and love to talk about it to our guests...in detail...with enormous pride!
- In your case you booked a King's Landing Game of Thrones Tour and NOT Dubrovnik History tour, and that means that it is all about Game of Thrones. We love GOT,we have visited other GOT locations in Europe, been on different GOT tours in Iceland and North Ireland and we loved our guides there and we still stay in touch...We love our guests, and interactions with them. Since our tours consist of small groups, guests love interacting with each other as well. Whether you are a CEO of multinational corporation, a housewife, a retired nuclear physicist or a high school kid...it does not matter, because during these few hours with us, you are all Starks and Lannisters and Targaryens, and you do the Walk of Shame while the other guy rings a bell behind you, and you practice your swing with Oathkeeper and pose with Lannister Shield because it is just super cool as it is for us, the guides...This is why GOT tour is different to the historical tour since we are in Qarth, King's Landing and Red Keep and not in the Old Town, Lovrijenac fortress or Rector's Palace, it is a differently structured tour and its main goal is to be a fun tour for true fans...
- We try to be as clear as we can in our approach to the guests, our web site gives you detailed itinerary of the tour, what you will visit and see and what to expect, what to wear, level of difficulty etc.. ( we even include a few surprises on the way), and we often stay longer with our guests debating on GOT theories and trivia because we LOVE IT!!!
- We are really sorry that you did not enjoy our tour as we value our guests above all else. You should have just called us right after the start of the tour if you were not satisfied and we would have organized a Dubrovnik history tour with some of GOT scenes included - since we do it often for people who are more into history but still want to see where some scenes have been filmed. And then if you were still not satisfied, the only solution remaining would be to give you a refund and deeply apologize for the time you considered wasted since ,once again, we value customer satisfaction above all, but honestly we really believe that we do a good job and that we can deliver what we promise!
- After your review we received a number of e mails from our past guests who read it and found it offensive towards them because we do have more than 550 excellent reviews, and calling these people "GOT FREAKS" or "NAIVE TEENAGERS" is just not right, so we would ask you just to delete that part from your content. Also, Nera did not understand your comment about good looking girls you saw during the tour, it is rather an offensive remark.

I have no idea where your boat will dock. You might check on transportation to the old town gate. It's the main tourist area so I'm sure they'll have a way for you to get there from the dock.
