We had a wonderful experience with Novak from Laus Travel on the Kotor/Montenegro Day Trip from Dubrovnik. The booking was easy and straightforward with timely communication. Novak met us outside our hotel on time and discussed our plans for the day. We went to the viewpoint over Dubrovnik, stopped at a nice restaurant on the Verige Strait, went to Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks church (in which Novak arranged for the boat trip to the island), and then had free time in Kotor on our own (with recommendations from Novak, including a wonderful restaurant). The day was amazing and a highlight of our Croatia trip. Highly recommend this company to use as your springboard to explore the areas around Dubrovnik.

Edi was our driver/guide and arrived promptly at the arranged time. He took us first to the waterfall and then to Mostar, and provided great commentary with a sense of humor throughout that whole trip.
Once at Mostar, he gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant for lunch and gave us time to get some nice pictures of the bridge .
Some suggestions to improve the experience even more would be to have a speaker system set up so the person sitting in the back of the van can hear Edi’s commentary and also for a party of six, the van was a little bit small . Some in our group also felt that having a few more facts in the commentary would round out the conversation.
Overall we had a great time and we would rate this trip as a solid 4 1/2 out of five stars .

Highly recommend! The guide is very kind and patient. We spent one hour at the waterfall and 2.5 hours at Mostar. The schedule was reasonable and the guide provided all the information (toilet, restaurant, etc) and introduced cultures and histories in advance. It is worth choosing it!

Fascinating sites and very scenic route. Border crossings were quick.

Josh, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the long and complicated history of the Balkans. He gave good suggestions, restaurant recommendations & answers to my questions.

l felt bad not being able to leave a cash tip at the end, since I already used up all my kunas, and only have dollars and credit cards left. Maybe put a digital tip option in the future, like PayPal or Venmo..

Would recommend. Thanks, Mr. Josh!

We had an amazing driver called Edi, who from start to finish really made the journey even more special than just the scenery. His charm and humour really connected the group allowing us to talk with our other companions as well as have a smile on our face the whole time.

We was picked up promptly as suggested and headed to the falls first off. All the way Edi providing humour but yet substance to the information he was providing.

We stopped at Kravice for about a hour and took in the falls in all its glory.

From here we travelled onto Mostar, again along the journey having a great time with our guide and other members.

We then stopped in Mostar where we had about 2.5hours to explore and take in all it has to offer, from the impressive diver off the bridge, to the scenic architecture and culture.

In all a great journey which we would love to do again as long as Edi is our guide.

The private tour with Novak was both educational and entertaining. We learned so much about both the ancient and more recent history of the region. Novak is well-informed, articulate and very organized. Luckily he insisted on starting our day early which meant that, even after stopping for fresh oysters pulled straight from the sea (unique and fun experience), we were still one of the first vehicles to arrive at the Kravice Falls. We enjoyed this absolutely magical place with very few people around. In fact, because we swam instead of wading only knee deep, it felt like we had the waterfalls to ourselves. We were leaving as all the giant tour groups were arriving. We learned even more about the seven countries of former Yugoslavia on the way to the next stop - Mostar. We had a lot of time to explore and enjoy the old city. From bridge jumpers to a local beer pub, Mostar was an energetic and entertaining place. On the way home, we stopped by a winery, Stanica Ravno, which had good wine and was a great experience. A family bought the bombed out train station and is refurbishing it to be a 7 room hotel, winery, restaurant, etc… Absolutely beautiful! Marco, the owner, shaved a piece of prosciutto for us to try. He had only 2 red wines and 1 white, but all three were good. I don't think many people get to stop by this very special winery. We are in Croatia for 2 weeks and, so far, this day has been the highlight of our trip!

Had a wonderful day! The tour was as part of a small group, which made a nice change from a large coach tour. Our guide Tomislav was fabulous - so knowledgeable and really made the day memorable. The waterfalls and Mostar are so beautiful - well worth a visit and I would recommend visiting through this tour to anyone!

Went to Mostar with driver Tomislav. The car was comfortable and the group small (7 people) so you can stop for breaks. Plenty of time for the waterfalls and Mostar town (which is amazing!) and feels unrushed. Tomislav gave excellent information and was very knowledgeable about the area

Had a great time on this trip with Disco. Loved seeing the landscapes of Bosnia Herzegovina from a smaller vehicle--max 8 people so if you have a good group, it feels like traveling with friends. Disco was great at explaining the history and fun facts as he drove and there was enough breaks along the way so you were never sitting in the car for too long. Spent about 1.5hrs at the waterfall (although ~30-40min are used going down and then hiking back up). Then had 3hrs free time in Mostar, which was plenty for us. Overall would recommend

Novak's guidance and recommendations were very smart and gave us the information we needed at the right time. He is also knowledgeable about Croatian current events and history, and understands Novak's own efforts. It is very reasonable to visit Kravica Waterfall and Mostar while traveling from Split to Dubrovnik, and it is very convenient as we will pick you up and drop you off near your accommodation. Recommended for those who can understand English to some extent!
