Islands near Dubrovnik

Booked two trips from two friendly representatives at a booth set at the side of a narrow walkway to The More Hotel. Both were exceptionally helpful and we arranged two trips with Zaton water sports. The three island trip included a fish/chicken/vegetarian lunch aboard the boat together with wine/juice. As there is a small limited number booked on this cruise, it was so enjoyable. Far more interaction with the crew, who could not do enough to make the trip more pleasurable. The food was excellent quality and the wine also went down well! The islands are beautiful especially the beach on Lopud. The Zaton staff offered us a discount on other activities so we also booked the Kayaking with them which was also very good. Maria the guide was top class and worked endlessly all day to make sure that everyone was enjoying their trip, she is most certainly an asset to this company, the information that was give by the sales agents was exactly true and precise.This trip was was great fun ,informative , and excellent value for money.I would have no doubts about recommending this company for the 3. Island tour in Dubrovnik.

Fun time in Dubrovnik

Definitely the best day and highlight of my vacation in Dubrovnik was this boat tour I booked. Well organized and great experience full of fun. Great value for money since the food is great and drinks are unlimited. Atmosphere on the boat was great and crew was amazing. The first stop Lopud Island allowed us about 3 hours free time to explore and go to the other side if we wished. One option was walking quite a distance to collect a 'buggy' - for a small fee -to take us uphill and over to the sandy beach. It's a pay beach with lounges and umbrellas at a cost, or small areas on either end that are free to use. The beach is just OK, fairly rocky near the shore before finding sandy bottom. Still the water was lovely - clear, clean and a good temp for swimming. After a swim, we bought a welcoming cold beer at the beachside restaurant… Kuna is the only currency allowed. We caught a buggy back to the beach area close to where our boat awaited. This is a free beach, much less crowded and less rocky. We also had a beer at the beachside bar where credit cards were accepted. We actually preferred it here, but glad we had the experience of both beaches.
Back on the boat it was lunchtime. Food was fresh and delicious. After lunch we visited Kolocep. Our skipper was wonderful, he took us to the best places. Being a local and knowledgeable guy, he recommended great spots like the Blue Cave.
We had a lot of fun, we went snorkeling (the equipment was included) and explored the 3 Elaphite islands. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Can't wait to come to Dubrovnik next year so that we can repeat the experience (perhaps with jet skis this time!).

Beautiful excursion to Lopud, the three caves and the blue cave <3

We went to Lopud, the three caves and the blue cave. Our tour/excursion guide was Niko and he was amazing! He told us about the history of the places we visited, put excellent music on the boat and gave us lots of recommendations for our trip. He gave us a few drinks and a sandwich during the trip and the excursion was beautiful. It was my first day at Dubrovnik and a memorable experience. I recommend it 100%.

Dubrovnik 3 island tour

Excellent value for money. The unlimited refills on house wine and fizzy drinks/water was a pleasant surprise. The on board meal provided was also excellent value, very large portions and cooked to perfection. The staff and Capitan were very friendly.

All three islands had their charm, beautiful sights and rich culture. I would highly recommend this no matter how long your stay!

Simple tour

We took 3 Islands tour. It was good, nothing crazy or spectacular, very simple islands, kinda boring, not unique. Lunch and drinks were good. Tour Guide was playing music on the boat, not talking about islands, or history. It is 8 hours tour, they also do hotel pick up and drop off.

Small boat hire- highly recommend!

What a fantastic day! We hired a small boat and were collected near our hotel in Lapad. We collected a few other people then headed off to Zaton, which was around a half hour trip by minibus. We were dropped at the marina where we met the organiser of our trip and he explained how to use the boats and how to stay safe on the water. He also gave us a map and some useful instructions for our trip. Once we had our brief, we were free to head off on our way and managed to get to the blue cave and sandy beach at Lopud. The blue cave is a little hard to find by yourself, but there were a couple of organised tourist boats there at the same time which really helped with finding the entrance. We dropped our anchor nearby and were able to swim in and make use of the masks provided to see the fish and the cave. The water is beautiful and clear so you actually don’t need any masks.
We then headed over to Lopud to sandy beach and dropped the anchor close by and were able to walk from the boat to the beach bar for a beer. We stayed here for about 45 minutes before heading off round to the other side of Lopud and then heading back to Zaton, where we originally collected the boat from. We collected the boat about 11am and we were back by around 4pm. We could have spent longer out if we wanted to, but we’d seen all we wanted to as well as a few other bits. We’d highly recommend hiring one of these small boats. You get to do your own thing and can head back whenever you like. Recommend you take a small picnic as you will be out for a good few hours. We also let our organiser know about half hour before we were due to arrive back and he was there ready for us and had transportation waiting to take us back to our hotel. He advised to do this which worked perfectly. Really lovely day.

Must do tour in Dubrovnik

This was a he highlight of my time in Dubrovnik! Luca was the best guide ever. He was informative about how best to enjoy all the different caves, took us to the best beach, and his music playlist for the boat rides was the perfect 👌🏼 Highly recommend!

3 islands tour

Just brilliant! Picked up from our hotel by minibus ready to board for 9am, lovely motor boat Zrinka. Our hostess was Sanja she was was very informative as to our trip and the crew friendly. First stop was to the island of Lopud for a 3 hour stop, we took a golf buggy taxi to Sunj beach one of the rare true sandy beaches in the Dubrovnik area, Crystal clear gentle slopped bay with beach bar and sun bed hire, beautiful harbour front with friendly restaurants.
Back on the boat for lunch of chicken , meat , fish or veggies, with wine or soft drinks to accompany during the crossing to Šipan , 50 minute stop in Sudurad a quaint fishing village before back onto the boat for the crossing to the final island stop of Kolucep, 50 minutes to enjoy a beach swim and great views across to the mainland and islands.
Return to Dubrovnik for 17.30 and minibus home.
A full day, minibus pick up and drop off , meal , plenty of drinks and a lovely crew and boat for £38 ? Outstanding value and highly recommended

A great experience

We enjoyed our tour to the blue cave. The cave itself is a remarkable sight, but the whole day was great. Food was sparing, and wine extremely watered down, but we went for the experience on the water and the small boat and the great sights were worth it. Picked up near our accommodation and delivered back no worries at the end. We only speak English and it was not a problem.

Dear Erica, thank you for your review We are very sorry if you didn't find our food better but we are glad you realise that this is not fine dining, the wine we purchase for tours is locally grown of sorts that are not too heavy on the tongue since we dont want our guests passing out in the summer sun on the beach afterwards, i assure you it wasnt watered down as you wrote. We ourselves during the summer drink the same wine and you can enjoy it at any part of day :) We are very glad you had a great time with us on the tour, if you come back ever, please let us know and we will take you for a visit to the vinery this wine is made for a wine tasting :)

A great experience

I had a great time on the whole day island hopping tour. Our hostess, Nieves, was the best, very entertaining and engaging with all the passengers. The first island, Lopud, was my favorite. I had the fish for lunch and it was fresh and delicious, drinks were also served and refilled throughout the whole tour. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Dubrovnik, definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
