There is plenty of activity at the Harbour, there is a market, plenty of ships coming and going, and rather a lot of rubbish in the water! This is a great way to see locals going about their lives, and where the majority of the...More

M husband is an old yacht so give him a harbour full of boats and he is a happy man. Not as big as some of the harbours we have seen for boat watching but still a pretty little harbour.

The old port is an interesting place. As you watch the various boats move about or remain moored , they present a beautiful view. The old harbour presents a old world charm. We used this port to go to Lokrun.

A very bustling but yet tranquil setting. The coming and going of the tourist boats set against the backdrop of the ancient city walls is a sight to see. We sat for a while and just watched the world go by.

Great view from the Gradska Kavana restaurant of the small Barbour that teams with small boats, water taxis, and tourist ferries to the outlying islands and beaches.

The trip costs 40 Kuna. There are regular, daily sailings from Dubrovnik Old Town’s port to the island. They sail to the Island two to four times per hour depending on season. The sailing takes just under 15 minutes.
