My family and I had a short stop off in Dubrovnik whilst on a TUI cruiser and we all enjoyed the visit. The Bell Tower is a iconic landmark and the bells themselves make a wonderful sound. This is a great photo opportunity and worth viewing.

The bell / clock tower is located at the end of Stradun St at the Ploce gate end.
The tower's clock is accurate and the bell is rung every hour.
You can't access it but can still get some nice views of it from the street and also from the walls and some high vantage points around the city.

Clock tower is located in the southern end of the walled city near the harbour, visually nice to see and take photos of.
Lots of locals kids around playing soccer when I visited and was enjoyable watching them play.
Several restaurants near clock tower but expect to pay for the privilege. You can’t enter the clock tower itself just enjoy from the outside.

The bell tower is right at the end of the Stradun, and we were also able to get closer up views of its top during our walk around the city walls. You aren't able to go inside, but it's an impressive structure. The digital clock on it reminded us of the one we saw in Venice, although apparently this tower and clock are even older than that one. The clock and bells still work, and the two metal bell-ringers are neat to observe (they are replicas, and we enjoyed seeing the originals in the nearby Rector's Palace.

You will find this tower across from the big church and on the main street. It is part of the ensemble of civic and religious buildings. It looks good and the crowds line up to take photos. Very crowded part of town.

tower is at the centre of the old city and you walk beneth it as well as getting a close up view of it at a high level when walking the city walls.
if you are a game of thrones fan then you'll recognise the bell as it features heavily in ep 5 of season 8 'the bells'.

Mechanical figures ring the chimes. The clock tower is a nice start to the Stradum (main Street) and adds elegance. Did not go to the bell tower restaurant which looked expensive.

We crammed a lot of things into our trip to Dubrovnik. We saw this bell tower and we took photos of it and it's very nice. However, we never realised until looking on TA that we could pay and go and climb the steps to the top or we would have done so. Still, it's a strong focal point in Dubrovnik and seems a very reassuring watch over the city. Something about it is comforting. I can't explain, but it's lie having a burly uncle looking over you making sure you're safe (or something) I now what I'm saying even if you lot don't. Haha.

Went in a 6pm. The steps are narrow and controlled by a light- if it's green, go in, if it's read, someone is on there way down. It's a mixture of spiral staircase, stone steps and a metal ladder. When you get to the top there is a narrow walkway round the town. Great views. Even better on Sunday when you can hear the singing in the cathedral, and the shouts from the bars.

We found this place since our mentioned that it would start from near the bell tower. By the time the tour ended, at the same place - the tower was well lit and looked stunning in evening light !
