As we were staying in Babin Kuk about 10-15 mins walk away on the promenade we found ourselves in Lapad a few times. It's had a complete refit recently so it looks all freshly done up as you walk into the area. Fancy hotels, expensive...More

Very nice beach with nice view on islands and mountines. There is a lot of restorans and stores and everyone can find something for himself.

Obviously a lot of money recently spent on improving this resort, too much own drum and base music for my liking, but then I'm not young. The local hotel charge for the beach, until 5pm, and expect you to pay full day rate even at...More

Lapad is a gorgeous area - so much so that I plan to return to Dubrovnik and stay here next time! There are numerous shops, bars, restaurants, dotted around as you drive through the area. Highlight for us (family of 5 with 2 kids) has...More

Plenty of restaurants with different cuisine. We choose to eat at dubrovnik hotel. Bad experience. Food not tasteful and relatively expensive. Also they add 25% taxes to the bill. Dishes served without garnish. Be careful not to be missed by prices in the menu. But...More

Our hotel was in the Lapad section of the city. Lapad is great for families and couples alike. There are many restaurants, bars, and shops to explore. There is also a nice beach where some of the. Icee hotels are located.

My best friend and I stayed in Lapad (airbnb apartment). We stayed here for 9 nights and had the best time. Lapad is only a 10 minute bus ride from the Old Town, so really convenient, and still far enough to get away from the...More

Hi there, both of those hotels are amongst the bars and restaurants and shops. They are both in easy reach and walking distance and by the beach, which is a bonus. I think I would go for the hotel that has the best reviews... More

Its about a 15 to 20 minute walk, quite nice at night to walk down for a meal. It is uphill on the way back so may take slightly longer. There are a couple of nice restaurants and if you keep to the left and keep going along... More
