I booked a last minute tour of the Elafiti Islands online through a company called HappyToVisit, using Adriana tours.
The website is very good to use with clear instructions where to join etc and the prices seem to be better than offered through the dockside ticket touts.
It would appear that the boat is also being used as a ferry to get day trippers to Dubrovnik. Maybe this is a cost saving exercise as the boat was not full.
I was expecting a commentary as we headed out to sea but sadly nothing and no information on the islands that we were visiting so really this was no better than a ferry service with lunch (fish, chicken or veggie with 2 slices of tomato and cabbage) and self service drinks (which are the shop brand 2 litre bottle sort) of cola, fizzy orange, lemonade, red and white wine, sparkling and still water.
It was a full 8/9 hour day and I enjoyed it for seeing the coastline and Dubrovnik from the harbour entrance. The small islands are all very similar and not really enough time on any of them to enjoy fully.

We spent an unforgettable day with Denis on board. His great knowledge about Dubrovnik & Elaphiti Islands and their historical significance made this trip even greater than we thought it would be!
He presented his city, region and this great trip with pride...
Free beer, wine, juices and water should also be mentioned in this story :P
As a domestic guest from Zagreb (have on mind that we support two rival clubs) I highly recommend this experiance! :)
Enjoy you all!
Matija.

We enquired about one of these tours via Vivado and signed up for the following day (apparently the best day for it as the weather was to take a turn for the worst after that…it didn’t really but I get the need to drum up business!)
We were told that we’d head straight to the Islands on our boat but that slowly unravelled and we had to change boats further up the Adriatic.
Once on the actual boat. It was fantastic. Served a “herbal brandy” which could probably strip the walls we jumped between the 3 largest of the Elafiti Islands. 45 minutes in the first 2 (Kalocep and Sipan) and 2hrs 30 in Lopud. So much to see and photograph but there was always that “lets beat the rival tours in” feeling otherwise tables in the first two islands would be at a premium.
Unlimited soft drinks and wine (avoid the White Wine as it’s some plastic bottle vinegar from Lidl) and served a fantastic meal cooked on the boat as you sail along the Adriatic.
We also seen dolphins so that’s an added bonus!

Booked the three island tour with Michael Sturica at the harbour instead of the blue cave trip as was convinced by Michael that it was better value for money as food/drink included in the 60 euro price and an all day trip. The islands trip was the same price as the blue cave trip which lasted only 4 hours. Left Cavtat at 10am, picked up others from two other stops before heading to the first island. The boat was absolutely crammed full. Had a 40 minute stop at the first island, barely enough time to swim before heading back to the boat where people had left their belongings in order to reserve their same seat. The free drinks were bottles of orange etc, bought from a supermarket and were all self service from a cool box! Then off to the 2nd island, again 40 mins so no time to do anything. The food was one fish, 2 slices of tomato and shredded cabbage and bread. There was nowhere for our family of 3 to sit together to eat. The third stop was a walk of about 15 min at the harbour to pay 3 euros per person for a golf buggy to take you to the beach. Then 10 euros per sunbed and 10 euros for a sun umbrella. Back on the boat heading back only to see that all the 'free' drinks had been removed from the Dubrovnik to Cavtat leg of the journey. I'm writing this review in the hope that no-one else gets ripped off like us. The excursion was far oversold. If I pay 180 euros for a trip with my family I at the very least expect a seat together! Never again

Service is excellent! My husband and I take this tour for 3 island with lunch included and pick up and return service to your hotel. We didnt want to stress walking to get into the beach thats why we took this tour. They have everything well organized and they are very punctual when they pick u to your hotel.
This tour is around 7 hours and they take you to 3 beautiful islands around Dubrovnik. The captain is the nicest person we meet with his wife ( who was a guide during the tour). They cooked fresh chicken or fresh fish (at your choice) with salad! we took the fishing of the day and it was our best choice! We had time to enjoy swimming and to appreciate beautiful landscapes while sailing!:) then, When we get into the port after the tour, they took each client on the tour to its hotel!
I highly recommended! Clean and nice wood boat with all security you need.

This was a total rip off. We paid €55pp and this is a glorified taxi with food and drink. The crew don’t say anything (there’s no tour guide at all). They just tell you what time to be back at each stop.
The worst part of the trip was when we got left behind on Sipan after we were told the wrong return time. I asked them 3 times to clarify the return time and it was wrong. We had to get a water taxi to catch up with them at lopud. But having waited 1.5hrs to try to sort something out with Miko company, we only had 30mins left on Lopud.
A total waste of money!

New boat - customer service could be improved. It seems like you get on a boat which offers a ferry service with a lunch. You get dripped off at 3 islands, 2 of which you only get 1h to see. Not much input being given from the crew on the history of the islands. On Lopud where you stay for 3h they let you out without suggestions on what to do and which beaches are recommended. Food is ok, and we did not understand why beer is not included in the price if wine is. In addition coffee is also not in the price. On the other hand we really liked the new big boat and the feeding seagulls experience. At the end the crew came around requesting tips. If you want or expect tips then a bit more effort would be appreciated.

There are many tour companies offering these day trips, I wasn't involved in picking the one we took. It's better to do a little research probably. There are different quality boats and different islands visited with different lengths of stay on each. We went to three islands. Two of them for only half an hour, and the third at Lopud for more like 2 1/2 hrs. Not much really to see at any of the little port towns but you do get to say you went to three islands. If you're a walker then on Lopud with the longer stay there was probably more to see, but we stayed around the port.

Booked a three island tour from Cavtat and found it a great way to experience a couple of different islands. Short stay on the first two islands but longer on the last island with transfer back to Cavtat. Enjoyable day and boat not too full.

Ciao, per le Elafiti si può partire dal porto di Gruz così come per Lokrum? Dove si trova il desk della Regina Maris per prenotare? Quanto tempo prima conviene prenotare? Grazie

Hi, We are planning on doing the Elafiti Islands on Karaka ship in June and we have 3 littles kids (1, 3 and 5 years old). Is it possible to bring a stroller on board and in the vehicle that will carry us from the hotel in Cavtat?
Thank you very much
Written April 2, 2018
To be honest it wasn't the most exciting day we had, but we went out of season so the islands were not exactly buzzing. But the day was worth it for a trip into the caves - stunning and an absolute must-see! I'm afraid I don't know about a stroller - I don't remember seeing any on board, but I could be wrong.

My wife and I are going on the 3 islands tour in a couple of days. Our lunch is included so just wondering if we will need to take much spending money and if so, roughly how much is best?
Written July 4, 2017
We hardly spent any money just bought an ice cream and a drink. We also bought a bottle of local olive oil on one of the islands. We spent no more than 70 kuna (£15).

Is this a suitable trip for an elderly lady with mobility problems. In particular getting on and off the boat?
Written May 1, 2017
We had an elderly gentleman on sticks in our group. He was helped on and off the boat using ramps. He then used a wheelchair on shore. It may depend who you bpok with because we booked with Thomsons they clearly took motability into account. Not sure a privste launch will. Maybe you should contact your travel company to see if they do suitable trips.

Do you happen to have nubmer for speed boat company ?
The prices quoted to us are very high .
Is it better to go there first and arrange?
Written June 23, 2015
One guy quoted us about £300 for the day (just the 2 of us). We walked to where all the tour guide desks are and I think we used Panoramic cruises and paid £20 each for a great day. Crystal waters, just don't plan too much at the stops as you actually won't relax, and do visit Lokanda Peskarija for the seafood! (Avoid the Pirate ships - tourist hell I think) go for the smaller boats. Enjoy, you'll love it

I am looking at the pirate boat - I know it has live music but outside those times is there pop music blaring out of speakers? Grumpy other half wants to know. Thanks.

I'm worried I'm going to feel sea sick?

If you have motion sickness, those wrist bands have always worked great for my sister who must sit in the front seat of any car, bus or similar moving object.
