This is an amazing city which is best viewed at 7 am in the morning before the cruise ships dock. There's a lot of good restaurants and little alleys worth seeing. Especially in the evening the Old Town is the place to be and it's crowded of people.

The old town in Dubrovnik is a rather charming place. Lots of nice places to sit down for a nice fish meal. Service level in Dubrovnik as well as Croatia varies too much. Some are extremely service minded, but too many just seem not interesed at all.

Worth spending a few hours over a day meandering through the streets and visiting the various exhibits.

Been on vacation in Montenegro this July/August and went on a tour to Dubrovnik. It was amazing! 4 hours in Dubrovnik is not much, but definitely gives you a good picture of how beautiful this city is. It is pricey, but worth every penny. You should try ice cream in Stradun (main street), great food and visit churches, museums, etc.... More

The landscape and the town are beautiful, the view on the see too, etc but everything is made for tourists and it is so expensive ! There is no more culture or history about this place, it is so pity for such a beautiful place. It is crowded during summer, and the restaurants are not even tasty, their menu's look... More

This place has to be seen. Unspoilt buildings, it is as it was but modernised inside. Lovely restaurants and views. Friendly people. Stay on the old town if you can, we did and it adds to it.

This is an amazing city which is best viewed at 7am in the morning before the cruise ships dock. There is so much to see and the churches are all worth a visit. Walk the walls either early morning or evening the views are incredible.

Deffinately spectacular! Although sooo crowded. If you go, try to get the early in the morning before the cruise ships come in. One morning we went at 7.30 ot was awesome. So much different from what you see when its crawling with people.

This is one of the places you see on television and you tell yourself ' I've got to visit there'. Firstly the old town is not as big as I thought and just walking the fantastically marbled streets would not take too long, however visiting the churches, shops, bars and other attractions fills your day. We did this after walking... More
