A must do activity in Dubrovnik. Kn120 it takes about 2 hours to get around all 2km of the wall but it really is incredible to see some of the stunning views and understand how the ancient city was so well protected

This is an absolute must when visiting beautiful Dubrovnik. Amazing history and even more amazing views. In summer it does get hot in the middle of the day so perhaps go early morning or evening. Does also get crowded but the views make up for it.

Wow, how amazingly preserved the city walls are in this beautiful medieval city, and getting to walk along the top was a trek but such a treat! This was one of our favorite things from our entire 10 day trip. Make sure to visit the fortress as well since you ticket for the city walls gets you into both.

We started our walk of the walls at 8am when it opened. It was great to be able to walk round without too many people, having witness how busy it gets in the middle of the day. The wall took a couple of hours to do a full loop at an average pace and stopping to take plenty of pics.... More

The Dubrovnik city walls are unique, and definitely worth visiting. They provide the best views of the city and almost continuous photo opportunities. They can be quite crowded, though, so be sure to set aside at least an hour (and probably two) to stroll all the way around.

We walked the walls at sunset when it was a little cooler. The whole walk took about an hour and a half and we stopped for a beer en route. It was a not to be missed activity however wear comfortable shoes as there are a lot of steps!

The entrance cost (if I remember correctly) is 120 Kn. This was ok. There were parts that reminded me of Great Wall in China... It is amazing how high those stone walls are! Go early in the morning, cause the heat will be burning and there is no cover, and of course you have climb some stairs there as well!... More

We walked the old town walls yesterday - magnificent views - an experience not to miss. You do need to be able bodied as there are lots of steps which can be quite uneven in places. A must if you visit Dubrovnik and have your camera ready for lots of fabulous pics. Very busy and extremely hot but quite a... More

A friend of a friend found an English school teacher who gave us a 2 hour tour of Dubrovnik. 1 hour was walking half the wall, other hour was walking less busy area's of old town. It was great. Highly recommend you do a tour
