The price for visiting the walls is not too cheap (120kn) but I would still recommend the view you have. It takes approx. 1-2 h to do the whole walk of 2 km. with the ticket you also have access to the fortress where they also filmed some scenes in game of thrones

It was nice, but there was nothing special for me, as red roof could be seen everywhere around dalmatian coast. Probably it's because I've been to many other dalmatian places, which provided me the similar scenery that I saw from ancient city walls. This place would be nice though if you don't have time to travel to other dalmatian coasts.

When visiting Dubrovnik, you must walk the city walls. Despite the fact that the charge is 120 kuna (about $18), it is well worth it. The distance is 2 kilometers and there are lots of steps, out is not that difficult to do. The view of the old city is magnificent. Tip: go early or it can get quite crowded... More

A great way to see an all round view of the town over the roof tops. In places there is still war damage to be seen tho most of the town is now beautifully restored. Great views of surrounding area.

Beautiful views. Getting started is probably the hardest part with all the steps. But once your on, can take your time and their are numerous places to have a seat and take in the views. Really hot, so go early or late afternoon.

Excellent views . Recommend to any tourist without mobility issues as there are a lot of steps in narrow confined spaces .

It's pretty expensivel, but I'd say it's worth it! Stunning views, especially from the higher parts. Lots of great photo spots. The whole tour takes up to two hours. We went up towards 17:00, which was nice because it seemed a bit less crowded and the coming sunset produced some nice views!

Great views of the city, fort and sea. Well worth the money. However it is a good hour walk up and down stairs and it is very crowded. You can stop on the way, there are toilets half way and a couple of cafes.

A must if you visit Dubrovnik. Beautiful view. The entire visit can be exhausting however for older people. From my point of view, best time to start is 5 pm. The tour lasts around 1 hour, 1 hour and a half. Ancient City Walls are opened for visitors between 08.00- 18.00. Ticket Costs: 120 kunas which also includes free entrance... More

Can't miss this, it is really charming experience, but walk in the morning - less crowds (it gets really busy after 11:00, when tourist buses arrive) and no scorching sun. We bought tickets previous evening, this way you can escape the queues. The ticket kiosk is at Pile Gate, just right around the corner (not where the Tourism Information centre... More
