Beautiful island. Wonder through the botanical gardens and the pine forest and monastery - very peaceful after the hustle and bustle of the old town. There are plenty of places to swim in the beautiful warm sea as well - so pack what you need...More

The Island of Lokrum is arrived at by boat - a simple 15 minute ride, and is a nature reserve which contains a nudist area (not available to non-nudists). The island is very attractive with paths leading you around the island. Views are terrific !!

It’s a fun short boat trip (15 mins) from the harbour in the old town. The island is small enough to walk around easily and you can quickly lose the crowds. It’s well worth the steep climb to the fort at the top for the...More

A really lovely day out, really easy to get to as there are plenty of stalls in the Old town harbour offering boat trips over to Lokrum every half an hour. Lokrum is a beautiful botanic garden island and is well worth the visit for...More

The boat ride and park conservation fee costs 150 kuna and it didn’t felt worth the while for a small island with a few free roaming peacocks and rabbits.

The price of the trip over to the island seems to have risen a lot in recent years and truthfully I don't consider it good value as we only went there to sunbathe.

I loved visiting Lokrum - I was staying in Cavtat and it's very easy to get a boat over for the day. I only had the afternoon and wish I'd had longer. You have to pay to visit the island when you get off the...More

The short 15 minute trip to Lokrum from Dubrovnik Old Port is an enjoyable and interesting way of escaping the heat and bustle of Dubrovnik for half or even a full day. Once there, you can visit the nearby Monastery complex with it's "Game of...More

I'll start with: Take the boat that charges 150kn the desk is in the port next to the water, that gets you there, back and access to the island! There are some that say they charge 75kn but that is each way and does not...More
