One of our favorite things to do when we first arrive to a new city is to take a Food/Walking Tour. This tour did not disappoint, Our guide Marija was spectacular, she felt like family. She took us through the city, winding our way through the alleys and giving us a little history as we went. The food stops were fantastic. They felt more like meals rather than tastings, giving us the opportunity to try foods we might not have had the desire to try. (Black Risotto anyone?) I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who arrives into Dubrovnik. I can't say enough good things.…

Fun tour i spent on double-date. We met with my friend so he proposed this because he tried something similar before. It is really interesting to get to know the culture trough food and drinks. All food was really tasty, and good probably because the tour guide knew where the best food was since he is the local. He was really good guy, full of information, and service in restaurants were friendly. I liked the most that near that tasty cousine and good wine their cultural music was important part of our little tour.…

What a wonderful afternoon spent with Marija. Her knowledge is exceptional, we enjoyed some amazing local dishes and drinks at beautiful restaurants dotted around the old city.. Expect to learn about more than just the food, you’ll learn about the history and culture of the place - not in a rehearsed script but in a friendly engaging conversation. She was warm and welcoming and it felt like an afternoon out with an old friend, the three hours flew by. Needless to say we would highly recommend this tour. Enjoy.…

Dear Darren and Mary thank you for sharing your experience about our ˝Dubrovnik On A Plate˝ tour! I am so happy to hear that you liked both the food and the whole story about Dubrovnik that we wanted to share with you. It helps run our family business even in these "new normal" times. Best wishes, Marija Turkalj Matičević Dubrovnik FOOD Story

Such an amazing experience! not only do you get to try at least 10 different local delicacies (seafood and meat options) and at least 4 incredible indigenous local wine varieties (including desert wine). The tour includes an comprehensive cultural, architectural and historic overview of Dubrovnik and it's people. And if that hadn't been enough they email you afterwards with a list of other hidden gems to continue your own discovery of the city"s secret places. We got so much more for our money than I had ever hoped for. Thank you to our extremely knowledgeable and charming host Ana!…
