Dubrovnik Old Town is awash with places to eat and drink but there seem to be very few with much real history or character. This place is pretty special and has both. And served me the best tasting espresso I’ve ever had.

Thanks for your review Eddy. You nailed atmosphere @Libertina and our Luchi pretty well.
Found this place by accident. True locals bar and great prices. I’m sure the bar man would smile at least once a year but it wasn’t today. Don’t let that put you off. Make sure you visit if you want a beer.

This place looks like it hasn't been updated in years and I love it for exactly that reason. Unpretentious, full of locals, comfortable and casual. A nice break on a side street off the busy square. Cheers.
Great place! Visited Dubrovnik on a budget and found most of the Old City too expensive. Found this pub down a side street on our second night and what a find! Very cheap compared to rest of Old City - around 25kuna (£3) a drink....More
