Our host recommended this beach which is more popular with locals and less crowded. About 20 minute walk from old town, lots of stairs to get down to the beach. Lots of loungers available to rent - 70kn for 2 chairs and umbrella. Beach was not very crowded, super chill place with bar/snacks available.

one of the best beaches in Dubrovnik with spectacular view, the only thing is that you need to go down about 100 steps to get there :D

Thoroughly enjoyed this little rocky beach, stayed all day enjoying the beautiful view of old town and Lokrum. 120 Kuna for 2 sun beds, we arrived around 10am and could pick beds right at the front. Rock shoes or flip-flops definitely desirable. The dash to the sun bed from the water isn't great in bare feet, trust me. There's a... More

This was a nice little beach just outside of the old city. We took a small boat there and spent about 3 hours relaxing in the beautiful waters. The only drawback is that it isn't a sand beach but most if not all beaches in Croatia are rocks. There is a lovely little restaurant on the beach that is great... More

Perfect non touristy beach , a 10 minute, about 7 euro boat ride from Dubrovnik city walls. The drinks were incredible. The best mojito I've ever had made directly on the beach with fresh mint and crushed ice. They also have a restaurant where we got the fresh catch of the day, grilled and the waiter cut us a filet... It's about a 20-30 minute walk from Old Town, but definitely worth it! The water is warm, you can rent chairs and umbrellas, and there's a snack bar and bathrooms. The beach is mostly rocky, and the waves are strong so it was a challenge to get out of the water, but otherwise a great beach and much less crowded... More
