This beach was SO beautiful!!! Worth a visit. The rocks are a bit of a pain... but hey you can't have everything! If you plan to go swimming I would suggest maybe bringing some water shoes with you. There is a beach bar and you can rent a chair/parasol so bring a little bit of cash. Its not overcrowded nor... More

We were on the look out for a slightly quieter beach in Dubrovnik and were directed toward Sveti Jakov by friends who had recently visited. We were staying next to Banje Beach and it took us around 20 minutes to walk from our accommodation. Headed along the coast away from the old town, and down towards the monastery, behind which... Fantastic beach with crystal clear water and almost no tourists! Favourite beach in Dubrovnik. Around a 20 min walk from Old Town but easy to find and definitely worth the walk. Be sure to bring a picnic and bottled water as no supermarkets close by but there is a restaurant on the beach!

This beach is (luckily) well enough hidden for tourists. Its there at the end of the road, outside of town. You can arrive there with bus 8 or 5. Then walk about 200 meters down untill you arrive at the church of st jacobs, go behind it and go down 150 steps on the stairs. You will arrive on a... More

Nice and not so busy. The restaurant is nice as well. Worth the walk. There is a cave nearby that people can swim to. although not as many fish as island beach, this one is not bad.

This beach is not far from Old Town but it's still quite a hot walk from Hotel Argentina. We took the 8 bus and it was comfortable enough. It's all worth it when you arrive. I would recommend bringing your own snacks and water and definitely some kind of water shoe. The beach was not crowded and the water is... More

This beach is hard to find and a hidden gem. Entrance is the road that heads down just to the south of the Villa Argentina. The road has a no outlet sign. Just follow down and walk around the abbey at the end of the drive. Stair case takes you down to the beach. It is a quite beach with... More

The beach is a bit hidden and not many people know about it. It's only like 15 minutes of walk from the Old Town. Big stairs lead down to the beautiful stone beach that has a pleasant view of the Old Towns Towers.
