Occupying a lovely beach side location, guests travel by land and sea to get to Banje – there’s even a private pier to anchor your dingy, boat or yacht. During the day, this is a superb, seafood-orientated restaurant with a decent repertoire of Dalmatian and Mediterranean dishes. Ingredients are supplied from local producers and fish markets, and they take pride in their carefully curated wine-list. By night, Banje Beach transforms into a beach side nightclub as a perfect spot to dance the night away...

Just here now and as family. Accosted by an incredibly aggressive sun bed sales man. Little goatee beard in his 60's. White hair. Kinda of scary looking. Hustled us and then got aggressive with me because I warned my family not to sit on the...More

The beach is very crowded and loud. We paid 100 kuna each for two sunbeds which included an umbrella also. This beach is extremely rocky and it's truly difficult to move around. There are no proper walkways and so you need to squeeze between other...More

We went there for dinner, on a Thursday night. It was calm, not crowed at all. Good food, amazing view, if you see the sunset there. Had a truffle risotto, one of the best I ever had. Good wine list, with lots of varieties. On...More

This beach has broken glass, loud music and packed areas. The for is a lot, and umbrella hire is 150kn. I would recommend going to sveti jakov beach as it is cleaned, cheaper and quieter with a better view of the old town.

Very crowded and RnB playing extremely loud. Food was not good either. Waste of money unless you go to the free bit beside the sunbeds.

Unfortunately, to sit on a deck chair costs 100 kuna (£12) which is extremely overpriced. The other option is to lie on towels on a pebble beach which can be quite crowded but is a good experience. Would have loved to spend more time at...More

The best thing of this beach is the closeness to old town. If you stay in old town you want to get out during the day when hundreds of cruiseship tourist groups are making their sightseeing. Here you have ok bar (just slow service) and...More
