Young & trendy spot

We visited Banje Beach (a short walk west out of town) one afternoon and it was busy, in a nice spot, loud music, with an eatery and bars.. the view across to Lokrum was lovely.

The bar and music are nice and there are soft mattresses with pillows as well as the sunloungers out on the beach. There are beautiful views of Lokrum island just ahead and the location is a short walk from the old town. As another reviewer wrote, we were immeadiately directed to the non-paying section of the beach without even being... More

This popular beach was located between our hotel (Argentina) and the Old Town. We were there in October yet we still had several days that were perfect beach weather. The beach is not sandy but rather small rocks and pebbles. Since we are used to Florida white sand beaches we used our water shoes.

Our walk to Banje Beach from Dubrovnik was pleasant enough. However, on our arrival we were told to go to the other (non-paying) end of the beach. We said we would like to stay in this area because of the deck chairs provided. We paid our 10 euros each for the use of the chairs (one which collapsed immediately). It... More

When we visited it was hot like hell, and of course the beach was full. Crowded, a lot of trash, and you always have to leave an eye on your staff - that s what locals told us.

Came here in October so low season. This meant the beach was quiet so my review is based on that. The beach is mainly small stones but the sea is lovely, crystal clear and nice for swimming. You can rent the beds from the bar if you want. The bar itself did nice cocktails and decent enough food at reasonable... More

Ok if you just want to sunbathe but would imagine that it get's very crowded in the summer - not really big enough to do anything else other than have a paddle.

The beach is beautiful and the water incredibly clear. However, this place is very popular and the beach can become very crowded. This place is lovely to enjoy drinks by the beach. We did however find that some members of staff were miserable and lacked customer service skills. The lady who brought our beers didn't once give us eye contact... More
