Beach is overcrowded, expensive drinks and staff a uncaring. The only good thing is that it's walking distance to the old town. Otherwise there are much better places to relax

Recommended beach if you stay next to the old city. Suitable for families with children, relatively safe, and easy to reach. Snorkeling there was very comfortable and interesting as well. Can get really crowded during the day so better to arrive early to catch a...More

We paid the 100 each for a sunbed. Had to organise our own umbrellas. Broken glass on beach. Bits of rubbish floating in water. Was ok but for the money the restaurant/club is making they should add some tlc to their private beach. Service from...More

Banje beach is near to Old Town, can get a bit crowded. Water is crystalline, refreshing, once in the water the bottom is full of pebbles, can be a little hard on the feet, but I loved swimming there. It's right next to Banje Beach...More

I would definitely recommend the beach chair side of this beach! It was very reasonable and you get an umbrella. They have food and drink and will bring it to your chair. It is a pebble beach so I recommend having shoes you can wear...More

We had heard rave reviews about this beach, and as we were staying in an apartment nearby we decided to visit. One half of the beach is reserved for those that pay for an overpriced sunbed and umbrella. It would have cost us the equivalent...More

We visited Banje Beach as we kept hearing about it all along our trip to Dubrovnik. Not the best beach I have been. The sunbeds under the banje bar/restaurant are massively overpriced (100 kunas for a sunbed, thats about 13€ each?!). We decided to go...More

It is pretty touristy but Peter and his crew went out of their way to make it a really pleasant afternoon. The water is deliciously cold as are the cocktails.
