Wonderful, wonderful, day trip to the Elaphite islands! Transfer service from your hotel is included so this makes it easy to get to/from the boat. The boat is very nice, very clean, modern, exceptional bathrooms and very comfortable accommodations.
Each stop was well explained and you have enough time to get sightseeing in without being rushed. The staff did an outstanding job ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves and made the day a really nice outing! When lunch was served it was quite lovely - I recommend the fish! I really enjoyed this trip and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting - it is well worth the money!!! I plan on booking more adventures with Adriatic Explore - a gem in the travel industry!!!

Me and my boyfriend went on two of the trips (mostar and Montenegro) costing €120 each for both trips, we lived outside Dubrovnik and they provided a driver to take us to the bus. Excellent driver and on the trips we had amazing guides. Both the places were so magical, so much to learn and so much to see, both cheap places to eat and see things. Beautiful sights. I highly recommend all the trips ❤️

We took our family on a full day private boat tour of the Elaphites with our wonderful skipper Tony. We had a fantastic day - Tony selected some beautiful quiet bays and beaches and we had a great time swimming off the boat too. Lunch was booked for us and we arrived at the beautiful seaside restaurant on time. Tony went out of his way to ensure we had a good time and was lovely with the kids too. Would recommend - we’d love to do it again!

An amazing day out to Montenegro. A small party (8 in total) taken by mini bus. Both our driver and our guide in Montenegro were excellent and very informative. Both Perast and Kotar which we visited are absolutely stunning. I liked the fact that we were taken to areas, given a tour and then had free time to explore further ourselves.

Our really pleasant driver/guide Kruno picked us up from our Hotel in Dubrovnik. We were a small group of 6 people.
The drive was not boring, cause Kruno told us history about everything. It was very fascinated. We did also a small break for coffee. After we reached the Kravice Waterfalls, we had enough time to walk and to spend time there. It was just beautiful!
Later we reached Mostar. Mostar is just fascinated! In Mostar we had a other guide, she told and showed us everything. Then we had also free time.
Conclusion: Perfect tour, with excellent guides! They know and love their work.
Please do the tours with adriaticExplore! We really recommended it! Everything is on time and everything just works out. For the next time, we definitely do some other tours with them!

This was a fantastic day out, with all of our family agreeing that it was one of the best holiday experiences we have had together.

Picked up at our hotel and transported to Dubrovnik Port where we met our captain Anton and boarded our Atlantic Open 750 cruiser for our day out.

Anton could not have been more polite, friendly and helpful. As a local, his knowledge of the area and the wonderful bays led to an enchanting day out, diving and swimming in hidden coves and caves.

We visited the local villages on the islands of Kolocep, Lopud (good enough for the Beckhams!) and had a lovely lunch in Sodurad.

A truly wonderful day, I can not recommend this Tour more highly!!

We had an amazing time on our private boat tour of the Elaphite Islands! Every single part of the trip was a dream, and so much better than we could imagine. Our driver was so punctual, kind, and excellent in every way. Antun, our skipper, was so knowledgable and passionate about the islands; he really was such a positive influence on our experience and made us fall in love with the islands too. We had a blast snorkeling and swimming into the caves, and Antun also gave us an excellent recommendation for lunch. This was one of the BEST experiences from start to finish. Thank you for everything you did to make our honeymoon one to remember!!

A wonderful day with a good/professional skipper and a good boat. We visited 4 islands and several caves. Softdrinks was included and we brought some extra sparkling wine with us. Best day ever

My wife and I took a day trip to Montenegro and everything was efficient, on time and exactly as advertised! There was a good balance of being on the bus and with enough opportunity at the stops to adequate see the sites.

1. Come to the Dubrovnik area – stay in Cavtat (see why below)
2. Enjoy
3. While there take day bus trips to see at the very least Mostar, Bosnia and the Coast of Montenegro
4. Choose Adriatic Explore

Coming to the Dubrovnik area for a week, we wanted to visit Mostar and see the famous bridge that played such an emotional part of the 1990's war in Bosnia, and also visit the coast of Montenegro, a beautiful part of a new country that is finding its own way.

My wife and I do not normally enjoy being part of a group tour, being herded into various stores or restaurants that we would not have necessarily chosen.

What we did want, is exactly what we got with Adriatic Explore – a small group; a personable, knowledgeable and easy to understand guide; a good explanation of what we were passing during the bus ride out; a quick but interesting and informative walking tour of the destination; free time to explore on our own; and a relatively quiet return home.

The tour desk at our hotel (Ana at Hotel Croatia – Cavtat) had a choice of tour companies. I have no doubt that they are all quite good (competition does that), but we ended up with Adriatic Explore for both our trips due to scheduling and their itinerary. And we were very pleased with the result. From the beginning we had a good feeling, as we were picked up by one of the company owners to take us the 15 km from Cavtat to where the bus was collecting guests at the hotels in Dubrovnik itself. It was very interesting talking with him along the way.

Both tours were led by excellent guides, and the local tour guides who gave us walking tours at the destinations (Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegivina; and Kotor, Montenegro) were also great. The bus drivers too were personable and interesting.

We certainly recommend Adriatic Explore if you wish to take a bus tour from the Dubrovnik area – and suggest the Mostar trip and the Montenegro trip for their history both current and ancient, physical beauty and how they contrast with Dubrovnik by being the “same but different”.

As TripAdvisor has no facility to discuss actual locations, and since by reading this you are obviously planning a Dubrovnik area visit - I'll take the opportunity to explain why staying in Cavtat is preferable to Dubrovnik itself if you want a quiet restful time. By the way, Adriatic Explore will pick you up and deliver you to Cavtat.

Cavtat is 15 km from Dubrovnik, not far from the airport – it is made up of two finger-like peninsulas – the town on the inner one and the five star Hotel Croatia on the outer. Dubrovnik itself is a busy tourist town full of hotels. Also even though the season had just started when we visited, an additional 6000 plus visitors came in daily on massive cruise ships. This makes Dubrovnik Old Town at times like Oxford Street before Christmas – a solid mass of people and not very nice for one on vacation. The rest of the city is also bustling – although there are many parks and promenades along the water that are quieter. We went into Dubrovnik to explore and tour twice during our week and it was interesting, but after a few hours we were glad to be on either the bus or the boat back “home” to picturesque and romantic Cavtat (see my review of Hotel Croatia – Cavtat for nice pics). By the way – take the boat at least once – it's double the price of the bus but well worth it.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your candid review. We are more than happy we fulfiled your expectations and more. Since we try to separate our service from many others by smaller groups, personal touch and knowable guides it is a great success when we get this kind of feedback from our guests. Hope we can welcome you again in our beautiful city soon. Thank you once more. Kind regards from Adriatic Explores Team.
