This stop was included on our private tour with Eco Tuk Tours. The view from the top of the mountain was amazing! We passed a herd of mountain goats walking right next to our vehicle on our way up the tiny road to the top. This stop provided a fantastic picture taking opportunity. There is also a clean public restroom... More

To beat the crowds, go after 4ish. The cable car ride up is extremely quick. The views are unbeatable. Lovely to see down the other side of the mountains.

Nice to go with the Cable car and see such a wonderful view of the of Dubrovnik. Take a walk to the northern side of the Cable car stop to see more.

Time your visit for both daytime and nighttime views. Arrive early to snap a few shots and walk the grounds. Then, stick around for sunset. Watching the sun pass beyond islands was like a movie. Crowds aren't heavy, allowing for plenty of areas to see the sunset unobstructed. Great way to see the town from a different angle.

We walked the ropeway and it was incredible. Leave plenty of time to get to the top because the actual trail begins about a 20 min walk out of town. Amazing views of old town as the sun sets. Be sure to wear running/gripped shoes of some sort as the rocks are quite slippery and bring a torch for when... More

You can et a day ticket or a night ticket or a special offer that includes one of each. We got a day ticket and went up around 4.pm. This was just enough time to take in the panoramic views and visit the Homeland Museum at the fort - a must-see - before choosing a stone to perch on to... More

Great experience! I don't know why there are crazy time estimates online but it took my husband and I 40 minutes to hike up to the top from the start of the trail and 45 minutes to hike down after the sunset. The hike has lots of switchbacks so it's not very steep but the loose gravel is a little... More

The cable car experience up to Mount Srd is a highly recommended activity to any newbies going to the pearl of the adriatic. Atop the mount, which house the remains of a napoleonic fort, one can see the entirety of dubrovnik in one place. Here the beauty of the sea, the scattering of islands, and the red rooftops of old... The journey up to the top of Mount Srdj is made by cable car, unless you are a keen hiker and have 2-3 hours to spare. The cost of a return trip is 150kn from the ticket office next to the cable car entrance, but can be bought for 120kn outside of the old town entrance that faces the mountain.... More
