Excellent experience. Went both ways but you could go up and walk back. Brilliant views from the top and excellent restaurant at the top where you could eat or just have a cocktail. Good walks and could hire a buggy or go on a zip wire at the top. The cable car was well worth doing

Wow, what an amazing view of Dubrovnik and the Adriatic . Not a long trip but the view is spectacular. Stay at the visiting platform and soak it all in. If you buy your ticket online you will save money . It can be windy and the cable car will close so be aware.

Worth the climb up the steps to reach the cable car station. The view from the top and on the journey is spectacular. It was a lovely clear day when we visited and you could see for miles. Took time to have a snack in the cafe/ restaurant, again with spectacular views. If you want to have a meal there, especially in peak season then I would advise you to book. Also take time to visit the war museum. I advise that you buy your tickets at the Cable car station as the are a few euros cheaper than the agents shops in Dubrovnik.

I was anxious about this but it actually felt very safe. It does offer exceptionally awesome views of the old town, adjacent coastline and Lokrum Island. The exhibition of the homeland War in the early nineties is well worth visiting in Fort Imperial (separate €5 per person entrance fee).

We used the cable car to get to the top for a lunch reservation. It is expensive especially considering it takes less than a minute to get to the top but then you are in Dubrovnik everything is expensive! Didn’t fancy walking the trail in the heat and a return taxi for 2 worked out about the same cost so we did it for the experience. A return trip for 1 person is €27

Great experience whilst in Dubrovnik. Fantastic views from the top. There is a restaurant at the top, toilets and seating. Smooth ride both ways. Staff are helpful and friendly. You can buy your tickets at the entrance. If you buy them at the other booth on the way up, they add €2 for service charge per ticket.

Easy to find a few minutes walk from the walls of Dubrovnik, although a lot of steps involved. Very modern and very clean. Only takes a few minutes to ride to the top for spectacular views of Dubrovnik, the islands and the Adriatic. Better to go up after lunch when crowds have calmed down. Make sure you check their website as windy days can mean cancellations. When you get to the top there are toilets, a bar and a restaurant

Yes, its expensive, the prices are published, but its worth every penny in my opinion. Spectacular views of the bay and the old town. My wife is not a fan of cable cars, but this stayed close to the ground, which made things slightly better. Coming down was easier for her, maybe it was the cocktails in the panoramic restaurant :-) Recommended and easier than walking up.

The Cable Car is 23 euros each which I think is on the high side but worth it for the views. We went for a wander at the top but there isn't much to do up there really. Take drinks from the shop opposite the entrance at the bottom to save money.

1st tip buy your tickets at the cable car base as the official ticket shops charge a €2 fee and at €27 each it’s not cheap! Try to get there early as it gets quite busy. We spent about an hour taking in the views and wandering around. If you intend to eat at the restaurant take plenty of money.
