A bit of a trek to get to down very steep stairs, but an enjoyable sheltered spot at the bottom. Hotel guests can access it much easier but public access is limited. Pebbly beach, lovey caves nearby to swim to.

The beach is for much the most beautiful here. Very clear water. The way there is easy to manage. However, not for people with disabilities. We stocked up on drinks and snacks (Klas bakery on the main road) and a sun mat is recommended. We went swimming without bathing shoes. In the afternoon, the sun disappears and then the visit to the old town is best, because the tourists from the cruise ships are slowly getting back on board.

Beautiful beach about an 8 minute ride outside of old town. There’s a really cool cave you can swim in and plenty of places to cliff jump. The water was beautiful and felt amazing but it did get a bit dirty towards the end of our time there with some floating debris. There’s a nice restaurant which open to the public but lounge chairs are only for hotel guests. We just laid on the beach with our towels and found it very comfortable still.

We were on a cruise & fancied a beach rather than Dubrovnik old town (which is manic). This beach is easily walkable from the cruise terminal if you are reasonably fit. What a find; clean, free (pebble) beach with crystal clear sea. I swam into the cave on the side of the cove. Lovely cafe behind the beach, who didn't seem to mind you using their toilet facilities; we had lunch there and that was lovely too. Great day!

Lovely water, lovely settings. Very stony and can be over crowded at times. The restaurant/bar was really nice and not overpriced. Shame we couldn’t rent a lounger as it was only for customers. The stairs weren’t too hard to get back up so that’s a plus.

My hotel was located on the top of the cliff above Bellevue Beach which had access to the beach via a trial and steps down the cliff. Since I visited in October, the beach was not very crowded and the water temp was a little chilly but nice for dip. The beach itself is very rocky with pebbles, so swim shoes would be highly recommended. There is also a platform to the right were you can jump into the sea and pool ladder to get back out, so you do not have to deal with the rocks.

We visited Bellevue Beach in mid July 2022 in 30+ degree heat. The walk down to the beach is pretty much straight forward, but don't take a right at the bin as that route takes you down to the Rixos Hotel. Keep following the path down to the cliff. There are quite a few steps down (and back up!) to the beach itself. There is NO shade at the beach in the morning except along the very left edge of the cliff. These spots were mostly taken up with towels, but a kind local lady and daughter could see I was suffering and gave up some of their spot so I could sit and read in the shade whilst my teenage daughter went for a swim. The beach is all pebbles which can get quite hot with bare feet. It's definitely worth bringing swim shoes to Croatia as you have to navigate stones in and out of the water.

My daughter said the water itself was cool and enjoyed a brief swim, but sadly it had lots of litter floating around in it. No where near as clean as the beaches off the islands we visited the day before.

The beach was busy, but not overcrowded and people were friendly. The beach was very picturesque. We did not try the bar/cafe.

Overall, it was a very easy beach to get to from our Hotel Lero. However, we did prefer the water at Mljet and Cavtat mostly due to less crowds and being cleaner.

Small pebble beach, with a great area for swimming. The water is crystal clear and a refreshing temperatur. You can wash of the salty water in showers on the beach. Its a good idea to wear bathing shoes for walking on the Small pebble. If you need shade bring you own parasol. It can be difficult to find so ask around. Note that there is a lot of stairs so it is not suitable for people having difficulties walking and I would not recommend brinning a stroller. Our children wich are 3, 7, 12 and 16. Totally loved it. You can snorkel and even swim to a cave.

This beach was below our hotel but is also accessed by a steep walkway from the road. The water is clear and beautiful, but the beach is very stony and I’d recommend beach shoes. There are showers on the beach and there is also an entrance into the water from a platform, like a swimming pool area.

Had a lovely 4 hours or so here during our recent holiday to Dubrovnik. The stairs/hills down are vast so not recommended for the elderly or disabled but worth making the effort if you can as the views are fantastic. The water was so beautiful and clear, and easily accessed from some steps to the side! Not so easy to access from the beach due to the large rocks and pebbles and beach shoes are definitely advisable for this reason! Cliff jumping I'd popular though which is quite fun to watch!

I'd suggest getting there around 10-11am and finding a spot as it does get a bit crowded in the afternoon though not as bad as the very popular banje beach.

Facilities wise, there were toilets, and a shower and a good (if expensive) restaurant with seating outide overlooking the beach. Had a lovely lunch here! Again, I'd recommend getting a seat here before 1pm as seating is limited.

Was looking for this beach and found ourselves getting lost - walking down stone steps straight into a 5 star hotel terrace where we unconvincing ‘styled it out’ and bought beer and a pina colada which cost equal to the plane ticket from London. Tracked back and turned right ( you should turn left), walking down what could be a million steps to a small pebble beach with beautiful clear sea. Lots of concrete surrounding so you will get a 360 tan, I would give 5 stars but the sun disappears relatively early around the cliff side

When you look from the up - seems very beautiful beach, cristal clear, blue water. However, once you climb all the long way down, surprise - water is full of garbage - not just face masks, but even women hygiene products... We were very disappointed and did not get into water...

I went on beach with two friends in morning. Sea was calm("bonaca" locals would say), and really turquoise. Nice beach with small stones which are not hard to walk on. There are and cliffs for jumping. It is not big so there is no much space for a lot of people. I liked it :).

One of the nice beach close to Dubrovnik old city. Not accessible for disabled people (many steps to get there).
One part is a beach of stone where most of the family stay, the other part, with concret is nice for jumping and less "busy".
The beach is also used by local people for waterpolo games which is very nice.
Many beaches are famous for jumping from the surrounding cliffs, Bellevue is one of them.
If you want some shade, get there in the afternoon, the sun is behind the hill and yet the heat makes it very nice to stay without sunburning !

The only negative point will be - for all the places we've been to - that the water even if really clear from above, is full of waste of any type, a lot of plastic floating around! the beaches dirty with cigarets, and as well any type of waste. Croatia should really invest in cleaning their environment!

Lovely little secluded bay with a pebble beach and clear warm water. Beach bar is basic but welcoming. Loses the sun around 4.30pm due to location so get there early. around 150 steps to negotiate but well worth it.
