Imagine miles and miles of smooth two-lane highway with virtually free of traffic. Then add a scenic sunny backdrop including the Dalmation coast and the Dinatic Alps. Must be a catch- it's a toll road! However at less than ten Euros who cares?!! Route 65 is my second favourite road after the Mull of Kintyre ... but a very close... More

We drove it from Ioannina to Croatia and I think it's the perfect road with amazing landacapes. Amazing and unforgettable views everywhere during the trip especially in Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina.

Road was great. Signage clear, speed limits reasonable. Not crowded but have to watch for locals who surpass the speed limit. No police around, should something happen.

An outstanding road route that gives an excellent perspective of the Dalmatian Coastline. Azure waters and pine clad mountains.

I drove this road from Zadar to Montenegro via Bosnia-Herzegovina. It is in very good state. I stopped many times on the way down to visit major places like Sibenik, Trogir, Split, Makarska, and Dubrovnik. It was a very beautiful way to explore the Dalmatian coast. There are many viewpoints to stop along the way. The most scenic two portions... More

We drove this several times and it is a pleasant, scenic drive. It is two lane and windy so one must pay attention to traffic. There are a number of places where you can pull over to take pictures or to enjoy the view. Traffic can be heavy so you generally won't go very fast.
