- SamanthaCardiff, United Kingdom316 contributionsThis bar was a great find and I wish we found it sooner. The courtyard beer garden was a sanctuary in the busy city and was so welcome vs the other outdoor seating seen at bars which is along the streets/walkways. The staff were energetic and friendly, service was good and they had an excellent music playlist - which again was a change from all the dance and cheesy pop music pumped out at most venues. Would really recommend this place to anyone! Knocked a star off for prices as you could get the same drinks for quite a bit less at other places e.g €11 vs €8 for a Goa IPA etc.Visited May 2024Traveled with friendsWritten May 19, 2024
- Mr_Spock56Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom1,441 contributionsModern bar set in the small narrow alley ways of the city which If you’re a lover of good quality keg beers is definitely worth a visit. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. It’s quite spacious inside so don’t be deceived by the narrow entrance way. We went for a drink every day we were in the city it even has a small outside covered patio area at the rear.Visited July 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 27, 2024
- Nick H82 contributionsLike others have said, this is a bit of an oasis of calm from the guided tours that inhabit the streets outside. Reasonable selection of draught and bottled beers, more to enough to keep you happy for a few hours. Unlike others we found the music really good (from the Beatles to Green Day) and I’m not surprised they don’t do tasters - if you like craft beer then you’ll have a good idea what a pale ale and NEIPA taste like… and if in doubt buy a small one! Service was excellent as wellVisited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 25, 2024
- ChiefyChucklesGreat Ayton, United Kingdom321 contributionsGreat large micro pub with tap wall, bottled beers, and wines. Quirky decoration, and pleasant courtyard. This is the one in the busy Old Town, but I think there are more than one around. The dark stout had an amazing flavour, BUT they seem to insist on pouring a pint with no head on it. Spoilt it slightly. Still, local tastes........and didn't stop me having a couple.Visited October 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten November 6, 2024
- SRW19661966Newport, United Kingdom49 contributionsTucked down one of the innumerable side streets in the Old Town, great little craft beer bar. Draft and bottles available, with local beers available (Dubrovnik Beer Company) the IPA especially recommended. Lovely beer garden surrounded by greenery. Great way to spend a couple of hoursVisited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 2, 2024

We drank local draught beer in a cosy but airy garden and had delicious very reasonably priced food ( by Dubrovnik standards! ). Our host was affable and informative and made us feel relaxed and welcome.

This is a characterful bar with friendly staff specialising in Croatian craft beers. Located in Miha Pracata, a narrow side street (well, alley!) a few steps from the main thoroughfare ("Stradun") running through the heart of the Old City, the bar is ideal for beer lovers taking a time-out from sightseeing and the heat and crowds of the high season.
Seating in the corridor, at the bar, more comfortably in a small lounge and probably best of all, in a small courtyard garden with cooling fans. Beer prices are around HRK 50 (c.£6) for a half-litre draft or bottle and snacks are also available. We became fans of the bottled Gricka Vyestica, but be careful as it's seriously strong!

Dubrovnik craft beer with the possibility of eating inside (not on Sunday but in case you can take outside and consume inside). Very nice internal garden away from the confusion of the city streets. Courteous staff available to explain the various beers on tap and in bottles.

I adore craft beer, but this just didn't feel right from the moment we walked in. Had the worst beer in a 9 day Croatian excursion here. Literally never again. Sticky tables, no samples and that's what you get - a beer you just don't like, at a price you don't like, in a place you don't like, with sticky tables

Basically a nice place with a good variation of local and international craft beers. I ordered a small Pale Ale and got a medium glass of of unrecognisable size with no calibration mark. When I tried to pay they charged me a big beer. I complained that I ordered a small one and the guy only said that my order was processed by his colleague who already left the pub and got that reason I have to pay small one. Poor reaction.

Fantastic well-knowledged bar staff. We didn’t get the man’s name, but a bartender who works there (whose cousin is a chef in a restaurant nearby) recommended ales and lagers for us, and told us all the places we should go whilst we’re in Croatia (if we could). Really nice little spot, with nice staff and locally produced ale.

Lovley beer house in the old town. My friends and I went 2 consecutive nights and thoroughly enjoyed - the beer garden and atmosphere was great. The waitress working on Saturday night (short red hair) was amazing and incredibly kind, a huge credit to the team!! would recommend to anyone.

Very overpriced beer, and a limited selection for a "beer factory". Much better selection and prices at Glam Bar. (£8 (69 kuna) a pint vs £5.90 (52 kuna) for the same beer).

Had a fantastic time BFD for our first evening in Dubrovnik. Great selection of beers and platers. Service was excellent despite being down to one staff memeber most of the evening and being hugely popular, with both tourists and locals, we were never left without a drink in our hand. Highly recommended and we will certainly be back before we leave Dubrovnik.

Staying in Cavtat but took the water taxi over to Dubrovnik for evening meal and few drinks. Had a couple of hours to kill before the meal and by chance came upon this place. The barman was very friendly and chatty. We went through to the enclosed garden area at the rear and what a hidden gem. So much character inside and outside. A charming establishment. Would recommend for a cold beer!

We are visiting croatia and staying about 6 k outside Dubrovnik, i have found many great reviews of restaurants and the usual,my question as you have visited and obviously enjoyed it there is a general one, is it generally reasonably proced,or UK prices ,or great value for money ? eg how much is an average beer? , what was your favourite restaurant ? many thanks in advance keith.

It’s very pricey - up to £9 for a pint on the main drag. Cheapest and best beer is the Beer Factory 20 yards from the Main Street. We had a big tuna salad for 65k (£8) and biggest portion of chips any of us had ever had for £2.50
