Beautiful, well maintained pebble beach with calm, clear water. Ideal for an early morning swim, before it gets too hot. There are public showers to rinse. We often came back in the evening for a walk, as there is good street lighting. Always quiet, peaceful and safe. Very pleasant.

This beach is located about 20-30 minute walk from the Promenade in Split, the walk is fairly easy and not strenuous. The beach is secluded from the tourist crowds and a great place to scape the crowds. This is a pebble beach so don’t expect long stretches of sand. Water is very clean (unlike the murky muddy water in the main Split beach), and warm. A total delight!

Trstenik Beach was great. It was a bit farther away than the other beaches we went to, but it was worth it. There was a great breeze all day. The water was gorgeous. I loved my time here. There are chairs and umbrellas you can pay for. There are bars & ice cream stands too. There are things for the kids to play on (I think for a fee) as well.

Buy beach shoes at the market for 30 kona makes it a much more pleasant experience, all the beaches are rocky but fine if you have beach shoes. I had a wonderful swim and sun bath here, only about 20 minute slow walk from the Diocletian Palace and there is also a bus

This beach was about a 15 minute walk from where we were staying. It was a fabulous find! I have never known a beach to be so quiet in the middle of August! It is a quiet pebbled beach, and the sea was unbelievably calm. A glorious little spot to savour.

If you’re trying to avoid the packed touristy beaches, this is the place to be in split. It’s right next to the radisson blu resort, you may rent one of their sun beds. We parked at the hotel and had to pay for parking, but the experience was worth it.

Sandy beaches are not common place in Croatia so this one of the better pebble beaches on offer

Clear waters and relatively free of chaos even on a Sat. There are good nearby coffee bars and cocktail bars too. Worth a visit.

This is a nice beach with ample parking. The water clarity is not bad. This beach and Kasjuni Beach on the opposite side of the bay, are my favorites for swimming.

On our visit it was quieter times in the city but this beach was very busy with locals. A great place to walk along as there are places to get an ice cream, drinks etc. This beach has sand unlike most others and is out of the way from the centre.

A fine pebble beach not to far outside the centre of town.

It wasn’t too crowded, we visited on a Sunday, and it felt like the beach that the
locals chose to visit. There was a nice cafe bar at the far end of the beach where you could either sit in or take away drinks.

The water is so clear and the beach itself
quickly drops away to deep water with minimal rocks and little sign of sea urchins.
