We did a private tour of the incredible Plitvice Lakes National Park from Split with our family of 6. Our guide Petar (Pulic is his last name - do yourself a favor and request him) gave us an unforgettable experience. The long drive from Split was a fascinating Croatian history lesson combined with facts about the landscapes and towns along the way. Petar has a great sense of humor and the kids loved him. The lakes themselves are stunning and very unique. Petar was light and fun and truly went out of his way to show us the amazing things that are uniquely Croatian... He even took us to a small town for dinner on the water at the end of the day and to a look out point with 360 degree views of the Adriatic and the many Croatian islands. He also indulged our obsession with finding some authentic Croatian olive oil... One of the best days we’ve spent as a family.

It is always a pleasure when our guests enjoy our tours that much that we get nice comments on tripadvisor, it just proves that what we are doing and trying to achieve is rights and correct way to carry on. Thank you very much for that.

The excursion was quite enjoyable and offered great value compared to other tours in split. The three stops provided time for different activities as well as relaxation. Marko was a very entertaining host, and provided an excellent amount of information at every stop. He even went out of his way to provide guests with detailed recommendations both in split and in Croatia. rocko, was an excellent second hand and ensured the cruise ran smoothly, while engaging with guests onboard. As well Joseph helped to keep things going, and made sure lunch was prepared.

Boat departs out of split’s old town so it is easy to find. The tour consists of three stops. First being the sunken ship, which is a neat site seeing spot, and a good opportunity to swim. Second, a stop in a port city which is a great chance to see Croatian life, while grabbing a coffee or drink at the beach bar. Third, the blue lagoon - unfortunately due to weather we couldn’t get too close to the lagoon, but this is still a nice opportunity to swim.

Highly recommend this tour, it was extremely good value for money and I really suggest adding the wine tasting at the end! They give you 3 wines to try and a selection of bread, olive oil and cheese. It is all authentic and made in a very small village in Croatia! Dario was the best tour guide and really made our trip!! Would 100% do it again!

We left ~1h late, we called early to check if they had snorkels, we got children's snorkels after complaining about that we called ahead of time.
We received disbelief when we informed them we called ahead of the trip.

"Unlimited drinks" means unlimited flavoured water and cheap wine, all other drinks are paid.

We needed to pay a deposit on the boat for snorkeling gear, even though we were not told this in advance.

Stays in the snorkeling locations were a lot shorter than advertised.

The host was fun, the trip was far from advertised, delayed, and overpromised, underdelivered.

We did the 5 islands tour with blue pool and blue lagoon.
The blue pool was closed due to slight wind which is fair enough.
The tour cost 99 euro. We were transported from one place to the next. The places we went to were not the places on the itinerary when we booked the ticket.
We were not told of the changes in advanced. For some of the destinations we were not told where we were going until we got there.
A lot of the day is spent on the boat, time on islands is short. We weren't given much advice on what to go see on the 1-2 hours we had in these places.
For lunch we were on some island for 1.5 hours, the guides booked the restaurant for us. I would suggest go find your own meal and do not take the offer of the guides booking your place at a restaurant - you could find better food cheaper and get a walk in if you go look yourself. Lunch took the entire 1.5 hours for us so we saw nothing on that island.
Probably an ideal tour for instagrammers who would like to get photos in all the popular places in 1 day

My teenage son and I booked the 3 Islands Blue Lagoon trip, and had a sunny day at sea. After a couple of days wandering around Split, it felt good to be on a boat, feel the wind through the hair, jump into the crystal clear water, and see things while sitting comfortably in a seat on the boat.

However, beware of the following:

“Lunch and drinks included” means that you get a crappy burger (meat, tuna or veggie) and some just as crappy fries for lunch. The free drinks are tap water and raspberry syrup from a water cooler, and after 1 p.m. you may also have some white wine from a 5 liter tap can. Beer, soda and coffee has to be purchased if you want some.

You get your drinks in those light plastic cups, and who knows how many of those end up in the water during each of these trips? If caring about plastics in the seas, they should at least choose paper cups instead.

The boat takes up to 130 people, and it’s not very big, so it’s quite packed. You are more or less stuck at your table of six, sitting on metal seats.

You should make sure to bring a sweater or jacket even on a hot day, as it can get chilly when you get out of the water after a swim, and the boat starts moving and you’re sitting in the shadow with the wind giving you a chill breeze.

The next time I’d consider investing a bit more money to get on a smaller boat with better food and less of the “mass tourism feeling”, but this trip was quite all right, and the crew did its best.

What a great trip! Well organized, good price, clear directions from captain Marco. The snorkeling gear costs a 10 euro deposit so you will want cash on hand—the snorkeling at blue lagoon was very good. We were in split for just a few days and this was a great activity for us. There were families with small children along as well so I would rate this as a family friendly activity. I liked that two stops were for swimming and snorkeling and one stop was for beach/cafe/souvenir. We walked up to church on the hill for a nice view.

We booked the 1.5 hour small group walking tour in Split and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide, Anna, was knowledgeable and very informative about the history and present times in this beautiful city. We learned a lot and wished we could ha e stayed longer. Her suggestions for restaurants were spot on!

We had the most fantastic day. Dario, our tour host, was fabulous - very knowledgeable, accommodating and funny in good measure. Our driver, Dalibor, was brilliant and was super speedy and punctual, meaning we didn’t spend ages waiting around. We went for the all inclusive krka day trip, which includes boat ticket to Skradin, Krka ticket access and wine tasting at a brilliant local winery. We decided to get dropped off in Trogir on Dario’s advice to make the most of our day off. Dario was so helpful and found all the info we needed for the bus ride back to Split. Would wholeheartedly recommend! Thank you to all at Gray Line Tours and Dario and Dalibor in particular!

We took a trip to Krka national park including a wine tasting. The trip was fantastic, thanks to our hilarious guide Dario and his trusted driver Vladimir. Even though the waterfalls were amazing and the tasting a one time experience, Dario made our day with his stories and us laugh like a professional comedian. Highly recommended tour and guide!
