Our waiter (guy with black hair and glasses)(don’t know his name), was superfriendly, props to him. Food was as expected, tenderloin cooked to medium-rare, as ordered. The view was stunning, I bet it is the best view in Splif from a restaurant. A beautiful view over split with excellent food, outside of the busy center. However, we were disapointed by the mediocre service. Our waitress, who seemed to be the manager, was particularly unpleasant and acted exasperated every time we ordered something. To be noted that we had ordered everything in advance (in the afternoon) to be more accomodating as we were a large group, but still waited at least an hour for our food. What a shame !

Do not waste your money eating here.
I always set a low bar for restaurants with a view, but unfortunately no bar could be low enough for the food in this restaurant.
4 of us ate together and we were all shocked at the quality.
We ordered 2 x ravioli, 1 x chicken pasta & 1 x quinoa salad.
Ravioli was dry, one was slightly crunchy (undercooked) and one or two had nothing at all! I’d say they bought it at a supermarket but the supermarket would have done a better job.
Chicken pasta, is literally spaghetti and a couple of pieces of chicken. Wish I took a photo, looked like something you’d feed a toddler learning to chew.
Quinoa salad looks good at a glance, but quite literally a couple of tomatoes, mozzarella balls and quinoa.
Redeeming factor: Drinks were served very nicely, my recommendation would be to come here for a drink and perhaps some olives to enjoy the view, which is stunning. We ordered 3 gin & tonics, and a non-alcoholic beer.
Total = $115 euros.

We were really excited for our romantic anniversary dinner.... Unfortunately it was a disappointment. Its 30 euros to get a tut tut up the hill from split or you can walk up... It's a steep climb with lots of steps. The views over split were incredible we had a table at the front but we're surrounded by non residents of the restaurant taking selfies next to our table which ruined the romance and ambiance of the location. The food was incredibly expensive. We had the prawn platter which was like eating an Iceland party platter. This place could be epic but it needs to up its game on the quality of food to counter act the disturbance of people taking pictures. Such a shame.

Fantastic views and very popular due to the amazing position. However only QR code on the tables for drinks (a menu available for food). I witnessed a couple of (older) customers unable to use this and waiter not fussed and no printed option available! We ordered and asked prices of the drinks. However when it came to paying we asked for the bill and waiter just told us no credit cards under €30 euros and just told us how much we owe without giving us a bill or receipt for the cash we had to pay. The couple adjacent, who had had food and drink also asked for the bill was told it was €28 and cash only and again no offer of the bill or receipt. This seemed the normal for other tables. It was the beginning of our holiday and we since learned and started on menus it's the law to get a receipt and you are not obliged to pay if not offered one. And other restaurants have ensured we have had a bill and receipt even if not requested. In hindsight I wish I'd insisted on a receipt!

View is beautiful, but if you are eating in the restaurant you will be blocked by walking visitors constantly stopping to take pictures/blocking the view and standing so very close to your table (so close they might as well join you). Staff are insanely rude. We asked for a side of potatoes (as they were on menu), response was that they don’t do sides.
Rushed meal ready to get the next lot of guests in. Filled with cats who sit at your table waiting to be fed.
Not the experience I was expected. Go up to see the view…. but skip the meal.

I never write reviews.. no really this is my first review ever. But we had such an amazing experience I felt obligated. Maybe this will help other travelers that are looking for an incredible meal with an equally incredible view. Teraca Vidilica sits atop of a hill overlooking the whole of Split and gives diners a perspective of the city that is truly spectacular. The view is so nice while we were eating we noticed many people were making the trip up the hill just to take photos at the near by lookout. And then there’s the food! This was by far the best meal we had, not just in Split or in Croatia but the best of our entire Europe trip (which included France and Italy). I ordered the rack of lamb and literally cleaned the plate(photo attached) it was cooked absolutely perfect and my wife ordered the truffle pasta and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. We were also pleased with the selection of local wines. The whole experience was perfect!

Tried to book through calls, emails, online booking form. Until today, not even an answer.
We decided to still go, as per the spot location, and what a mistake :
Open terrace with huge flow of tourists all around, taking pictures right beside you while eating & drinking, obviously obstructing the view, feels like a zoo.
In terms of food, worst food we’ve had for a very very long time. Can ravioli and can tomato sauce with no goat cheese in the supposedly goat ravioli ; aglio & olio pasta with chicken : no aglio, no olio, zero flavor.
Requested for a side of vegetables, agreed by the waiter, only to be brought the poorest side salad ever, without any vegetables, which we obviously sent back.
Such a disappointment from A to Z. Better to go to the esplanade right beside to enjoy the view and skip this horrible place

Dinner was average, like the review itself. No outstanding flavours. Had Bruscetta, pasta and the tenderloin; all "alright".
The view however was outstanding, absolutely beautiful! Would almost say the view is worth the dinner.
Service was 6/10, were very approachable but had too wait too long before out attention was caught.

The panoramic offers a unique view of the whole city. Beautiful by day but also by night. You can get there on foot and by car. We did it on foot, but we recommend getting there by car if you have the chance. The slope climb and the stairs are quite a challenge!

They recommended me to drink coffee at this cafeteria and I decided to do it.
Its views are the best they offer, as it is the best viewpoint of the city of Split.
Friendly but somewhat clueless staff.
I had an Americano and it wasn't bad but it wasn't 10 either...
The bathrooms need some repair, the terrace is ideal but the interior is somewhat chaotic (quite a bit).
