This tour takes about 2 hours (and involves a fair amount of climbing) but takes you around several places where Game of Thrones where shot in Dubrovnik (given that the tour takes place around the old town go could drop of anytime if you like). The tour guide Tonka worked as an extra in Game of Thrones and have excellent knowledge of both the books and the TV series and spices up the tour with interesting anecdotes from what happened behind the cameras. Even if you are not a die-hard fan (or have even seen the series) this tour takes you around some of the best parts of Dubrovnik's old town. We took the 5 pm tour which was perfect since it was not to hot and a little less crowded.

We have found this trip through a advert next to waterfront in split. It was a private tour just two of us with tour guide Ivan, not only he showed us all the filming locations he also took us to places that no tourist knows about, very special tour. Very interesting is worth every penny. He even took us out for a beer after trip was over.

We did it during our "Summer is coming!" GoT Tour. It was excellent experience, very good guide (Ivica) who explained everything with a lot of interesting details.
A bit expensive, but with personal guide and personal driver it is worth it.
The tour was not only about GoT though, but we've learned a lot of interesting facts about history of Croatia (around Split and Dubrovnik).

With so many city tours available, this one really offers something different. Our guide, which has actually played as an extra in 2 different Game of Thrones episodes, brought us around all the locations where Game of Thrones was shot like the basements of the Diocletian roman palace, the spots across the city and, cherry on top, the fortress used for many scenes of Meereen. Because most of the locations are also city historical landmarks, this is a great way to see Split without missing out on key things. The best part of the tour was the Game of Thrones styled dinner we had at the fortress. It was beyond the official closing time so we were the only 10 people in the whole place, at the sunset, with a great view on the city and a fantastic table full of typical food (Peka), complete with great replica of medieval cutlery and crockery. The tour starts at 16.30 so by the time you are done with the palace basements the sun is not so hot anymore, making it so much nicer to continue the tour. Also the sunset at the fortress is really something you shouldn't miss. Highly advised!

We just came back from the tour and it was really nice. Goga (gyta) is a very well known tourist guide that shares an abundant knowledge about both the filming and the history of the sites. Her easy going nature and warm welcoming attitude made us feel at home immedietly. Such a great experience and totally recommend it whether you are a fan of Game of thrones or just wanna have a nice time.

Gorana (Goga) took us on a terrific Game of Thrones tour of the Diocletian Palace, the fortress and old city followed by a wonderful dinner in a lovely park outside the city. We even got to shoot some arrows which was incredibly fun - definitely try it! Goga had lots of fun insights from her two times an extra on the show - including who had the best sense of humor - not who you'd expect! Goga was spot on with her restaurant recommendations for Split and Hvar, so a great resource overall. Highly recommend!

I was coordinating a class trip with a group of 60 students across Croatia and I found online the reviews from Tripadvisor and I decided... why not ?
I have not been disappointed ! The booking team is great, very flexible and always eager to please you to offer the best experience in Split. First, the tour in the city centre with a great guide, who even participated in the filming of the show. She could give some behind-the-scenes examples and anecdotes of actors, which my students were very happy about. Second was the visit of the fortress with a surprise...we did archery ! Even I enjoyed it a lot, even if I am bad with a bow and arrow. Finally, the day finished with a great medieval dinner which we all enjoyed in a wonderful setting.
All of my students, even the "difficult" ones, came to me to say how thankful they were they could do it... Thank you !!!!!!!

Brilliant tour. Tour guide knows so much about the show. Even inside stories about cast. Really brought the place to life wasnt just here is the sets and this is what they did as she was apart of the extras. Really passionate about the series and the food at the end Omg.... both myself and partner had a brilliant time.
