My friend and I came here on our second night in Split on a Saturday evening. From the moment we sat down, in the actual vineyard on bistro tables, with a chilled bottle of rose we were impressed. Srdan is a great host. Funny, charismatic,...More

Itinerary finalising (6 Replies)
Hello I have now read a ton of itineraries and TR's and this is my following itinerary for a trip with my partner in Sep. We love food, culture, nature and exploring and are in our early thirties. I have 2 spare nights - where shall I put them? Thinking poss 2 nights on Mljet or another night in Istria and another in Dubrovnik? We are hiring a car so I have chosen Hvar out of the islands as it is easiest to get a ferry from Split then to Drvenik. Was definitely tempted by Vis but it was too...More

Very nice! Istria definitely need more time in my opinion...your plans are amazing but your time is short. I'd definitely add one or two nights to realistically follow your itinerary and leave a bit of room for spontaneity! Mostar makes a superb daytrip from Dubrovnik. I think three or four nights in Dubrovnik is plenty.
