Booked a hop on/ off bus tour plus walking tour at local agent in the port
Was contact that morning to say time had changed.
The hop / on off tour was not that at all .. but an hours bus Ride around the area. I was ok with this but others on the tour not as this was not the deal they had purchased.
Ricardo was a good guide with clear English information which I found very interesting and informative. I love the bus tours as they take you to see places you would not usually venture to. This was the red route.
We then had two hours to kill before our actual walking tour. Which was easy as lots to see, I wandered the markets and had some food.
The walking tour lasted 1 1/2 hours. Going around the old town. I really enjoyed this. So much information… Ricardo was again very knowledgeable about the history and very passionate about his country.
I would recommend … then go back on your own ( definitely go up the clock tower but be careful it’s hard on the knees with deep steps often with no hand rail ! )

My guide Gorjana lead me on a tour through Diocletian's Palace that was absolutely incredible. I found myself learning so much that I was spouting off facts to other travelers for the rest of my trip. She built engaging narratives about the palace and city that enriched my experience of Split; overall one of the best things I did on my whole trip.

We had a fantastic walking tour with Doris in Split. She was very informative, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. We got a real sense of the history of Split. I would 100% recommend this tour to anybody who is interested in learning about the amazing history of the palace within an hour

We took the blue line circus and I must say that was exceptionnal.
We have a perzonnalized visit of Salona then Trogir and finally Klis.
The team Renato as a guide and Bruno as a driver was the perfect team to pass the the 5 hours together. they were so kind that you can also discuss on other topics concerning this wonderful country Croatia.
I strongly recommand this tour and it won't borrow at all. At the start of the excursion you have a explanation on the history and then you are free to discover the site.

I went on the Ancient Salona tour. It was an excellent tour. Our guide, Sandra, made all the difference. She is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She explained very well the history of the sites we were visiting. Great tour. Sandra said that many pieces that were discovered on the archeological sites of Ancient Salona are on display in the Archeological Museum in Split. I am now very interested in visiting this museum.

Doris, our guide, gave us a fabulous tour and insight into the history of Diocletian and the palace. Lots of interesting tidbits of information and a thorough venture around the structure of the Palace pointing out all that was necessary to build up our understanding of its history. Our teenagers thoroughly enjoyed it as did my husband and I. We recommend highly. Definitely a great foundation of history to begin your stay in Split. Not too long or too short, just perfect. Thank you Doris!

We visited Split on Sunday 19 November and thanks to the guide we explored the center learning about the history and anecdotes of the time. 45 minute tour of Doris! Big recommendation! Super nice guide, good explanations, had a private tour by accident and got very good personal explanation and all the opportunity to ask questions, take photos, etc. Learned a bunch and had fun. Thanks Doris!

We completed all the four offerings of the company, split panoramic tour, Klis Fortress, Salona and the Diocletian walking tour. The walking tour and the Klis Fortress were the best parts of this package. I give the entire package a 4 but our walking tour guide, Magdalena, a 5. She was informative and so wonderfully engaging and entertaining.

I know we are coming off a pandemic and tourism is starting to ramp up but we had them to ourselves and what a treat. Renato took us for the 5 hour blue line tour and we did the walking tour with him in Trogir. He had a great amount of information and history to share with us. We bought the two day pass so we came back in the morning to do the walking tour of Diocletian’s Palace and that was another impressive hour of history. Then we got on the bus for the city tour. We didn’t stay on for all of it but what we did stay on for was awesome and they were even willing to wait since we were the only ones. We truly enjoyed our time taking to and leaning from Renato! Great two days with Apodos!
