This is a really fun and funny little museum. The frogs are stuffed and arranged in little scenes with exquisite attention to detail and some very funny poses and captions. As the signs in the museum say, Read the Captions!!! They are very witty and half the fun. You can see Roman ruins all over the place, but there is nothing else like this in the world and it only takes about half an hour. Would give more stars if I could.

Greetings! Honestly, we share great satisfaction with your review. You are happy for visiting Froggyland, looked carefully and recognized the artistic value of Mr. Ferenc Merea, who, in addition to the enigmatic way of stuffing, made sense to bring a small dose of humor into everything! Thank you for the nice description of the collection! Lp 🐸

Im pretty sure 5 stars is not what this should be getting, maybe 5 laughing faces. It is the weirdest place. Its so funny but not because it tries to be but because the english translations are so poor in such ridiculous and funny ways, for the amount you pay (can’t remember what) its worth it for 20 minutes of hysterics.

Dear Adam, I need to admit that you made me laugh from heart because you are only visitor in my long experience who enjoyed reading grammatical errors in world of unique collection. I'm sorry you spent money on that because you can find it on shop windows and inscriptions which are intended to all foreign visitors in any city in the world. You just need to look carefully and you will be surprised how much grammatical errors has every foreign city. And most important is that you can read it for free. Thank you for visiting! 🐸

Hands down the strangest museum I have ever been to! Went to Froggyland on a rainy day in Split, and I'm so glad I did! I have to say that I didn't think this would be for me but, when I saw it on TripAdvisor, I just had to go and check it out. Seeing all those frogs in life-like positions was really actually funny. I was giggling the whole way through and thought it was so creative. The tourist reviews in the book at the end were also hysterical. Obviously, people visiting need to understand that they were made 100 years ago... So clearly it is a bit strange. Nevertheless, it was so wondeful to imagine how life was lived 100+ years ago (through the medium of stuffed frogs!!!). Taxidermy isn't my thing but I would definitely recommend this museum to anybody visiting Split :)

We're glad to hear such beautiful comment from 15 years old girl. It's nice that someone younger can estimate quality of this collection and art. Unfortunately, someone older than you sometimes couldn't recognize this value. Thanks for visiting 🐸
