We embarked on a 6-day self-guided bike tour from Split to Brac, Hvar, Korcula and back to Dubrovnik. The support provided by Dejan was exceptional. From the original discussions about the itinerary and hotels, to the bike fitting in Split, through to the actual bike ride, his care and effort to ensure the tour was exactly what we wanted was exemplary.
Each day we were given a number of route options and start times with different distances and varying elevations, with clear descriptions of the benefits of each in terms of scenery.
During the day, Dejan was never far away to provide more assistance if required. And at the end of the day, the accommodation provided (we chose 4* option) was exceptional as was the restaurant recommendations and bookings. It was evident that Dejan, being a local, had fantastic connections with these operators, and they treated us with a great warmth.
This custom designed bike tour was one of our all-time great weeks of travel, and I would highly recommend Red Adventures to anyone looking to explore some of the most beautiful islands and mainland of Croatia.

We really enjoyed working with Red Adventures, who customized their Magic Islands trip to suit our preferences (we skipped paddling in Split and went straight to Vis on the ferry; this gave us time to kayak over to the nearby island Biševo). The scenery was stunning, and the RA guides were the absolute tops when it came to making us feel at home and adapting the kayaking to our group's experience level. Communications with their office staff went smoothly, the trip was reasonably priced, and our main guide was intimately familiar with local history. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to explore some of the most beautiful islands in Croatia!

We had an amazing 3 day sea kayaking trip on the Dalmatian coast organised by Dejan. Everything about it was top class. Communication leading up to it was friendly and informative. He was completely adaptable to our requirements - even lining up accommodation in an apartment when the incoming rainstorm would have made our first night camping a washout!! We go on a summer kayaking trip in Europe every summer and this was the best one yet!! Massively recommended!!!

This was my first solo trip with Red Adventures and definitely won’t be my last. The trip involved 6 days of hiking, kayaking, cycling, SUP and snorkelling around island Solta.
Our host / guide, Dejan and his family couldn’t do enough for us. Dejan is very knowledgeable and passionate about Croatia, the trip and activities / adventures. He is perfect for this job.
The accommodation provided through the trip was spotlessly clean with good views of Split and beyond. There was space to chill on your own balcony or hang out with the group on a terrace.
Food provided on the trip included multiple options and lots of it. Every meal we had was so tasty and even better, some of it was homegrown in Dejan’s garden.
The activities were moderately challenging and Dejan will keep you busy / active for most of the day. He went out of his way to move activities around depending on the weather conditions so we didn’t miss out on anything and were able to do everything in the itinerary.
I don’t think any adventure company in Croatia could beat this one!

We have just completed the most amazing 6 Day self-guided cycling tour of Split, Brac, Hvar, Korcula & the mainland peninsula. Dejan at Red Adventures designed a specific program to meet all our requirements & provided amazing support throughout the ride. The tour far exceeded our expectations & we cannot recommend Red Adventures more highly. Dejan went above and beyond to make our tour an experience of a lifetime.

If we could give 10 stars, we would. This small company is exactly what I wish we could find everywhere on the world! They care a lot, they really think through the best routes. You couldn’t have better support — when one of our e-bikes had an issue, a replacement was on the next ferry. Such genuinely friendly folks. Excellent English, for those of us who don’t speak Croatian. They provide GPS tools, with written back-ups. We are in our late 60s and made one modification on the last day — with advice from Drazen, who also arranged the taxi so we could skip the biggest uphill. We cycled quiet roads along the Adriatic and the beauty was breathtaking. Fabulous every day

Just home from an unbelievable bike journey with Red Adventures Croatia. Dejan was the consummate host, his planning was meticulous and ability to let us discover our most appropriate limits was second to none. History, knowledge and his love of the environment was infectious. There were 8 of us on the trip and we had an adventure that excelled beyond expectation. I would highly recommend land or water adventures with this organisation.

We recently experienced a magnificent week cycling through the beautiful islands of Croatia. It is difficult to express just how wonderful our time was. The country and its people were generous and welcoming; the accomodation was above our expectations and the restaurants and wineries were fabulous; our itinerary and support was exceptional and 8 of us celebrated together with much joy around us. This was all possible through the wonderful passion, insight and genuine care from our incredible guide Dejan, he was and is a wonderful human who has ensured we’ll return along with many other Aussies we recommend this trip to. Bravo Red Adventures, we could not have been happier.

We had a fantastic time sea kayaking around Vis with Red Adventures and our guides Drazen and Amjad!
The coast of Vis was beautiful, with falcons, blowholes, dolphins, spectacular scenery and crystal-clear seas.
Everything was professionally arranged and we felt safe at all times. The equipment was high quality and well looked after.
Definitely recommended for a well-organised adventure holiday - thank you Red Adventures :)

We did the 6-day "Magic Island" tour out of Split, and I can't say enough about it. Our guide, Marko, was great - friendly, funny, adventurous and knowledgeable. His passion for Croatia and paddling is clear, and I think he enjoyed the trip as much as we did. We enjoyed paddling on open water as well as through caves and rock gardens. We cliff-jumped, did some side trips, snorkeled, and enjoyed time on the beach - most with no crowds (and some just us!). The island of VIs is beautiful, and Marko knows it like the back of his hand. I highly recommend!

Can you tell me how many hours the Southern Cliffs tour and the half day Split kayak tour are for? Is the price difference because of time spent out or food/drink on the first one?

Dear prooproo,
As main guide of RED Adventures I have few things to comment:
1 - it is correct that sometimes guests are helping to carry kayak to the Sea with guide cause 2 person kayak is easier to carry by 2 persons than 1. Cause sometimes guests are asking to help so some guides ask nicely if you are willing to help. You don't need to carry if you don't want! 10-15 meters of carrying the kayaks is not so big distance to carry!
2 - if somebody is beginner in kayaking it doesn't mean that can not carry the kayaks, but maybe guide rather as somebody with experience to give him a hand especially if you are looking phsyicly stronger and more confident!
3 - if you didn't like guided tour could you please mention which guide was working in your tour cause we can also ask that person! Cause few persons I did ask and nobody doesn't remember your story! If you don't remember the name can you describe it (girl, guy, type and color of hair).
