Very nice walk in the heart of the historic Split with Tomislav. Between history, interesting facts and recommendations for visits, we did not see time pass. We recommend 200% to start your discovery of Split with this so as not to miss anything of this remarkable city.

Marina was a fantastic guide. A local from Split, it was a joy to hear her talk about history of the city - old and new.
The guide gave a comprehensive, overview of the history and culture of the town, yet she kept the tour light and fun.
Great way to get an overview of the city in two hours, as well as gain a few tips for restaurants.

Our guide Marina was great, she showed us all of the old town of Split, with explanations on its history. She also provided plenty of recommendations on where to visit during the rest of our stay.
The only downside was that our group size was quite large on this day (30+) and it was quite busy in the city so it got a little difficult to follow the tour at times.

Very good! Marina was very friendly, fun, had dynamic and interesting speech, spoke English very clearly and clearly. She contextualized the history of both the country and the city and made the visit to Split much more interesting! I loved

Our awesome guide Marina was so full of energy and enthusiasm that she kept our full attention throughout the 2 hours tour(6-8pm). She expertly presented all of Split's historical background in about 15 minutes and then walked our small group of 5 people through the Diocletian Palace's interior and made sure to answer all of our questions along the way. We would certainly join another Free Spirit Walking Tour if all guides are like Marina!

Beautiful guided walking tour inside Diocletian's palace, starting from the golden gate (northern entrance) to the Riva, passing through cathedral, baptistery, southern and western gate. The Guide, Ivana, really good: she spoke clear and easy to understand English and gave a lot of historical information and anecdotes about the city and the palace. It is worth participating to better understand the city and its history ☺️ recommended!

Tomas the guide was amazing - we liked the way he delivered the tour and put everything into historical context - including modern history. Split is more than just roman ruins and the Croatian people and their history needs to be be made known. We saw all the main sights and Tomas gave us a very good insight into how it means to live and work in a city that is also a Unesco heritage site. After the tour we also visited the Marjun park and even managed to get to the top - we wouldn't have done this if Tomas had not mentioned it!

We chose the free walking tour in Split because we really enjoyed the one we did in Zagreb and Zadar. Again, our guide Tomislav was really informative but funny at the same time, giving us a great introduction to the history of the city and the main monuments, without ever be boring or "heavy". Recommended!

A wonderful experience. It's really emotional how Marina makes you understand that the city is staying alive as a consecuence of its continuous change, and that we people will be gone, as the Emperor is no longer here, but our places will be used by others, as the Emperor's residence has turned into one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Loved it!
